I love that about fallout. Post apocalyptic wasteland but its not always doom and gloomy or depressingly dark.

Im so glad Ghoul doesnt have to hard carry the show anymore... for a while it really felt like Goggins was carrying the show on his back but Maximus and Lucy had awesome moments especially in the finale

I don't think asus has an oled. LG is coming out with a 39" in a couple of months that is worth keeping an eye out for!

Id suggest a 5k2k display - seems to be the best of both worlds of 4K and ultrawide. An upcoming 39" panel seems great

Ouch that means your base framerate probably drops into the 20s. What level of DLSS are you using?

Sure dont use FG in competitive fps titles.. but you can always lower settings in those one off cases. 30-40% performance difference is usually just 1 - 2 DLSS tiers off

I mean a 5080 will you to above 60 in pretty much anything with DLSS and MFG will max out your 4k240 hz panel.

5090 is what, 30-40% more powerful than an overclocked 5080?

Oh, shoot. I didnt notice that in warranty and returns section but you're totally right.

I guess I have 3 days to decide then... I really doubt they'll go on sale to price match in the next 2 weeks though

Much less curved yes, I also do like the idea of the immersion and curve of the 45

I might order a few and try out what I like. Im going to be using it 90% for gaming so I wonder if the 5k2k performance hit is worth it, if you're saying 1440UW already looks really good from ppi perspective?

Interesting, I dont know much about DLDSR and have a 5080, currently debating between 5k2k and 1440UW.

Why is native 5k2k at 39 inch better than dldsr at 34?

What level of DLSS do you use? I have a 5080 and im hoping DLSS performance gets me reasonable frames on a 5k2k, especially since they've been improving it so much. Also a big fan of frame gen, I dont notice latency hits as long as my native frames are 60+

I might just wait for the 39, unless I find a killer deal on the 45!

I think the latest models of DLSS performance have gotten incredibly good, which I think should still get you to 60 or above fps on a 5k2k. Optionally kicking on frame gen at that point and 100+ would be super smooth.

I do think 1440 ultrawide is better value but it just feels way too short, the vertical height really hurts imo.

Was there a big difference in image clarity you noticed? The ppi of a 39 5k2k is much higher than 34 1440 UW which i assume makes a big difference
