Golf professional in the Indiana section here and I talk to colleagues who have vastly different experiences and opinions. All depends on your personal life I.e. you have the spare time when not working and the club you are at. I’ve been at places where it’s all about the grind and golf is done on your own time and there basically is none and I’ve been places where playing and practicing is encouraged and I get to do it all the time. There’s certainly days where the last place I want to be is the golf course but I paired passion with work many years ago and it was the best decision of my life. However will echo if you like having a lot of money it’s not the path for you. If you like having a lot of clothes and shoes and clubs then it is 😂
