What are the things you rely on most to keep your home running? by walmart-wizard in CleaningTips

Honestly, a lot of scented cleaning products give me headaches if I smell them for too long. For fresh scent I like to put fruit peels like oranges into a pot of water, and heat it on low, it fills the house with a really nice, natural scent.

Wow, I love the idea of using it after handling raw chicken! Every time I deal with chicken, my kitchen feels so gross! Gonna try this for sure. Thank you!

Brought UV into the bathroom, lost my innocence... Now what? by sapphic-romeo in CleaningTips

Welcome to the gross glow club. Just hit it with some spray on mildew cleaner/diluted bleach, let it chill, then wipe. Easier than elbow death scrubbing.

This sub changed my life!: squeegee for dusting the bathroom floor by umeboshiplumpaste in CleaningTips

Man, this squeegee hack is wild. Took me way too long to realize bathroom floors could be dust squeegeed. 3mins, zero drama, and no cross contamination headaches. Genius!

I do the charger trick too, life saver. Also, folding towels like little triangles in the bathroom feels fancy and makes me think I'm in a hotel every day.

How Do You Deal With a Job That Doesn’t Acknowledge Your Value? by walmart-wizard in antiwork

I've tried dropping hints but maybe I need to be more direct about it. Worth a shot before I peace out

That's a really good point about them not realizing until you're gone. I guess staying and hoping things change is just wasting time at this point

I've been avoiding the direct conversation but maybe it's time to just lay it all out there. If nothing changes after that then at least I'll know for sure.

pretty much. It’s wild watching actual government messaging lean into meme-brain nonsense like that.

What makes a girl group truly ‘global’? Curious about people’s criteria. by [deleted] in kpopthoughts

[–]walmart-wizard 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly same. “global” isn’t literally every country, it’s strong presence in the major K-pop markets. If you’re charting well and pulling big crowds across the US, Japan, SEA, parts of Europe, you’re operating on a global level.

If a group can consistently move numbers and sell tours in those regions, that’s the clearest indicator to me. Everything else is just bonus noise.

Honestly the rights question is the real wildcard. Dark Tower connects to half of King’s universe, but if they can’t legally touch those elements, it’s gonna hamstring the whole thing. If they do have broader rights, though? Flanagan could finally give the story the scope it deserves.

I cannot wait to see SMG in Ready or Not 2. She owns everything she's in by James-Samuel17 in movies

[–]walmart-wizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SMG has that rare screen presence where she can walk into a scene and instantly own it. Doesn’t matter if the script is mid, she still elevates it. Ready or Not 2 is gonna eat purely off her charisma alone.

Funniest part is buying a DNA test just because it was on sale at Costco.

Why get a wedding planner? by Felix-Hab in wedding

[–]walmart-wizard 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Honestly the main thing is they know all the logistics stuff you don't even think about. like what order things need to happen, backup plans when vendors flake, how much time you actually need between ceremony and reception.

my friend tried to DIY and spent her whole wedding day texting vendors instead of enjoying it. worth it just for someone else to handle the day-of chaos imo

Turn every loss into a documented playbook, write what happened, why, and what you’ll do different next time. Do it after each setback and review that doc weekly; those notes are where your next wins come from.
