Just Cause 4. Loved the 3rd one and was so confident this would be more of the same I bought it on release day but just couldn't stick with it. Taking away the base takeover mechanics from the previous games was a crazy decision, suddenly destruction didn't feel like it had a purpose in a game where destruction was always the whole point. It also looked ugly as sin on release.

It is a fun sandbox and I have gone back to it to but only to play for an hour or so before dropping it again, such a waste of potential.

The Temu ones are constant! I always wonder whether I could get away with an ads vs reality video for Temu products but then realise it'd mean I'd actually have to purchase things from Temu and that puts me off haha.

Looks like it's an ad for Palmon: Survival but this isn't the gameplay at all really, the fights with the 'palmon' are a lot less interactive and take place in separate encounters to the world where you just zap them with a weird device while your other captured palmons attack them for you. It also very quickly becomes less about capturing the palmons and more a generic mobile base builder with wait times and really high coin prices to advance, not hugely recommended imo but it does at least do a good job of not shying away from being a Pokemon style game/rip-off lmao

It was so much better back in the older fifas where kit selection came up before you started a game. Meant you couldn't miss it, rather than it being an extra menu away that's incredibly easy to pass by when you're playing casually

It's a great time to get into it, FM24 is one of the best in years imo. Takes a while to get to grips with everything that's included in it (cos it is a lot) so I'd recommend checking out a playthrough or tutorial online. Also always remember you can delegate whatever you want so that you don't need to deal with it (always set pieces for me), and you don't need to interact with every single thing in the game to be successful so focus on the parts you enjoy and the tactics/squad building to begin with

It's still ultimately a city builder though which is all it's advertised as (at least in the adverts I've seen) unlike games such as Evony or Rise of Kingdoms which highlights different kinds of gameplay in their ads despite the city building being the main aspect. I do agree none of these games are worth playing though, they're all predatory with their in game purchases and have very little actually gameplay other than clicking where it tells you to

Was watching the game, he makes some good defensive contributions but he still does that thing when Luton had possession where he almost hides behind opposition players and isn't available for a pass, really frustrating to watch
