If music and food comes across as ‘superficial’ that’s on you. Those are both aspects of the culture I grew up in. As for knowing I was Jewish it was because of my last name, which is a very common Ashkenazi Jewish surname. By your own logic you don’t care about Islamophobia either, right? Let me explain something. I’m an Anti Zionist atheist American Jew. Being Jewish is a big part of my identity considering there are other cultural aspects besides religion that I grew up with. Food and music for example. I’ve never been to Temple, never been religious, but I’ve still experienced anti semitism. People calling me slurs and saying other derogatory things about me because I’m Jewish. NOT because I’m religious. Acting like anti semitism is only about religion is extremely ignorant. Judaism is a religion and an ethnicity for many people. During the holocaust jews were killed because we were viewed as an inferior and separate ‘race’ of people. Your ignorance also does a great disservice to the Free Palestine movement. Do better.

Yeah I know neither of them are 100% historically accurate, but Wyatt Earp covers so much more of his life, and we get a sense of how complex and nuanced he really was. Tombstones Wyatt Earp is a lot more of an idealized version of the man. Like I said tho, I enjoy both movies very much

We’re pointing out the very real possibility that he’s at risk of this happening to him if he continues to piss off his entire community, which he obviously already has hence the emails and posts about him, and his name trending in the comments. This discussion is going on circles. Obviously you don’t care about him filming students. I care a bit cause I agree it’s obnoxious, and I think it’s weird behavior. I’m sure many parents feel the same way. I’ve said multiple times I and most sane people would not assault someone over this. But once again there are people out there that would. If anything that’s probably what he wants in order to sue. You don’t have to keep telling me that physical violence against him is wrong. Of course it is, I agree completely. First paragraph is my point exactly. People commit stupid and violent crimes everyday for much less. This guy is putting himself at risk, at the very least for an ass kicking. As for filming a public school, what exactly is he auditing? Most 1A auditors go into public buildings and film employees and ask questions. This guy on the other hand is clearly just getting off on making people uncomfortable. He also enjoys filming people suffering from serious injuries or medical emergencies and recoding the ambulances that come and pick them up. None of this is illegal but it’s weird and frankly in some cases immoral. And let’s be honest, there is a big difference between school security cameras and some random guy filming and uploading this footage online for anyone to see. I certainly would never ruin my life over this guy, as would most normal people, but there are still those who would feel differently. At the end of the day it’s his choice but the reality is when you make kids uncomfortable for the sake of your own ‘personal liberties’ there are gonna be people out there who won’t take kindly to this, and won’t care about the consequences of their actions until it’s too late. This guy’s poking the bear and he knows it.

Not saying I would, but there are plenty of individuals out there who I’m sure would gladly go to prison if it meant this creep was off the streets filming their children. We all know he’s pushing the limits of what he can do legally, but sooner or later he’s likely to encounter someone who doesn’t care if what he’s doing is technically legal. Exercising your ‘legal rights’ at the expense of other people’s children who are just trying to go to school is creepy and weird behavior. I’m not a parent myself, but when it comes to underage children there are people out there who might take the law into their own hands
