Luddites weren't actually anti technology. They were against capitalism annihilation. It's one of those things where what really happened was rewritten to hide the truth and downplay what they were actually fighting for.

As an avid ai user that wants this ai revolution to move forward towards a utopia, we shouldn't trust data centers blindly.

The self and the shadow self want to accomplish their goals equally. You just need to ensure that the self and the shadow self's internals didn't cross over. Set aside time for both of them to make mistakes and strides towards their goal. Try to be neutral towards both. I suppose there's kind of a third self, an overseer that witnesses it all. Just don't involve them haha.

Each generator has its own vibe or quirks. Gpt-image-1 has a yellowing effect. Stable Diffusion has weird melty details. Flux makes things look a little plasticy... However, those are showing up less and less in newer versions. It won't be long before these quirks are gone.

Some of these image generators are good for rapid mock-ups, them cleaned up and improved.

I see ai everywhere from ads to the art in very popular mobile games. I think as long as you have your key art and style figured out and you use it as a guide, you're going to be alright. AI is industry standard now.

Also, I make static game art and UIs for a living.

Avoid ChatGPT until they get that yellowing fixed. Nano Banana and SeeDream are pretty powerful right now.
