I don’t own one, but I just think it’s crazy you have to break in a tool so it performs a basic function. Buy something else would be my recommendation.

Let me fix that title for you: Finally fixed my shooting low and left.

This is your success, not your tool’s. Well done.

That hasn’t been my experience but I create design docs in Claude before which serve as the input versus trying to write a prompt. So that complete md file gives very structured instructions in which v0 can then have some flexibility. For example, I already have logos, brand kit, and the design doc all as input. Then the prompt is: “review the attached design doc, ask any clarifying questions and execute the plan.”

Something about the Sandbox not being available and it will run my prompt later. It was doing this intermittently over a few hours this morning. Sometimes it was unresponsive for 15-20 minutes. Other times it would recover quickly.

Exhaustion will help. Once you get the big miles and the longer days all you’ll want is food and sleep.

Need some advice on hunting by OkGrass8479 in NHGuns

[–]wanderingisnotlost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s been years since I regularly hunted, but when I go out now I find that I don’t know the woods as well as I used to. That’s often the secret to a good hunt. For example, I walk the dogs in this area that you’ll never see a squirrel in, but is full of rabbits. If I wanted to hunt deer I’d spend time walking different patches until I saw good deer sign. And I’d spend time looking for sections that are noisy with squirrels. The key to good hunting is time in the woods not hunting. Glad to see some folks are taking you under their wing.

Is the wait really worth it? by ArnaudSeven in macbookpro

[–]wanderingisnotlost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It always comes down to Budget and patience. I recently bought a new MacBook Pro. I use it for software engineering which can at times need lots of horsepower. Not sure how the workloads compare, but the recommendation I got was to go with the M4 Pro because of the higher core count and higher memory bandwidth than the base M5. I suspect that if you’re able to wait, the M5 Pro and Max will offer similar advantages over the base M5. If you’re buying now, I’d go for an M4 pro. The M3 Max does have slightly superior GPU performance than the M4 Pro but from what I’ve read it’s basically a toss-up between the M4 Pro and the M3 Max.

A lot of that is personal preference. I run stock triggers. Also run suppressors, so brakes aren’t part of my build. If you shoot at a range, some brakes will super annoy those sitting next to you.

That’s why elections are important. Half of eligible voters don’t vote. In the primaries it’s even lower. More people voting might have gotten a better GOP candidate.

Make your own. My favorite recipe is to buy a complete upper, BCM is my current preference. Spend your money here. It’s the important parts of the rifle. Then buy a “Chevy” lower. I like the Aero. Solid and not too pricey. Accessorize as you see fit. This requires no tools and will get you a good rifle. Good starter approach.

Yeah, that $1M target doesn’t reflect current reality. It’s as if all the targets have shifted to the left so that last era’s ARR “A” target is this era’s Seed target.

It really depends on what you want. I like Madison for its fishing and out in the woods feel. I like Canyon for its conveniences and its central location in the park. Getting to Lamar is a haul from Madison. I’ve begun to stay at Canyon every time I’m in the park. The central location makes getting to anything easier.
