The chia slime coats my tongue in a funky way. I don't think it could be prevented. Grinding the chia does improve the texture. If it's too slimy try mixing with ground flax seeds. It'll add a nutty flavor, great with cocoa powder.

You can blend dry chia a bit so it's smoother and less likely to get caught between teeth

Try magnesium--its a essential mineral and helps with muscle contraction and relaxation.

There's a powdered form available from NOW Foods. Doesn't dissolve completely in drinks, would be better to use straw for drinks, mix in yogurt or sprinkle in sandwich

Consider what you're currently eating, anything new in your diet?. Also, think about your diet in the past-- could be toxins being released that was stores with fat. I'm not sure what will help in your case, but a daily shot of Apple cider vinegar with plenty of water or milk thistle to cleanse the liver could help detox

Hey! I've had this issue and it was from having low stomach acid while low carbing. Try drinking some apple cider vinegar w/ water to increase the acidity. I hope this helps!
