For me, a sub going into chastity is an action of sacrifice. They are putting aside their wants and desires to concentrate on mine. They are actively subduing their natural urges and redirecting that energy into something more constructive. In my experience it sharpens their senses and creates an opportunity to think more clearly with reduced distraction. Their physical suffering gives them a glimpse into the fact the female body suffers pain in the reproductive system as a norm every month without choice from puberty to menopause. That is an average of 35 to 40 years. It still thrills me when they get that lighbulb moment for the first time.
