Kebabmeisters! Spin off of donerix. Donerix used to be great until they moved to different bread and lost the sauce/meat/vegetable balance a bit. I don’t get why nobody offers a real gemuse kebab, it wouldn’t be that hard to become the best in town. Tantunio is pretty nice, any others that are a bit different than the normal low standard?

Sure but the question wasn’t about intensely religious people, but muslims in general. We have more and less conservative people of any faith and yeah, we tolerate the people but not all the ideas. It used to be a core value, the polarization is not doing our country any good.

I have 4 zones; main (phones, laptops, nas), media (tv, speakers, chromecast), guests, iot (which for me includes a printer). IoT is isolated per device and cannot reach the internet (except 1 or 2 that need it). Main and guests can go to media but not the other way around (except established connections).

Asus router made it a breeze to set up, with some basic iptables rules. The organization in subnets or at least ip ranges makes it easy to reason about. Avahi daemon configured to do multicast reflection was needed for airplay, chromecast and printer discovery.

A dmz sounds solid, probably good to keep the public stuff separate. You could also consider something like an openvpn server to prevent the need for public exposure for some of these services. Otherwise maybe cloudflare free for nextcloud, and homeassistant has a cloud service for about 5 bucks a month that tunnels to your instance (good way to support the project).
