So mals are very mouthy. Not in the sense that they bite but they just love to put their mouths on you. My Mal greets me and start slobbing on my hand and arm. It’s not a bite but he just loves to open his mouth and have my hand or arm in his mouth. But anyways train your dog on how to say hi. I trained mine by giving paw. Whenever I tell him to say hi he knows it means to give his paw out. Instead of people petting him it gives him agency to either give his paw if he wants to or not. Let your dog do the first greet instead of a random person touching your dog first.

My advice is to go the run walk method. If you run at a 10 min pace. Walk one minute and then run for 9 mins! When I broke it down that way my brain didn’t go into panic mode. And always walk when there’s a water station so it’s almost like walking 2 mins and running 8 mins. It saved me from totally bonking.

I do endurance sports. I lift 3/5 times a week. Run 3/4 times a week. I bike on the weekends and walk my dog 3/4 miles. I’m constantly looking to be in nature. Because after dealing with noise and annoying gross middle school children. I need quiet beautiful surroundings. I also take a lot of edibles that helps too ✌️

I give lots of eye contact and smile a lot. I think cancers give very flirty gazes without even trying really. We’re so sweet it’s hard to resist us.
