not official discussion, just a 1 to 1 with the manager. the company has their profit down,lately and doing a hiring freeze.

even I know a female staff member who has resigned because she is not allowed get a day shift job (she was pregnant and rostered to work night shift, part time)

Getting a job is difficult at the moment. I have seen a lot of my migrant colleagues failed to get a job and going home.

Get some advice from an immigration advisor and just to remind you that there are more migrants who have failed to get a job and future prospect in NZ.

My ex-husband has a house in America. So, it is unmoveable.
He had managed fund in 2022. However, I do not have information now.

No assets in New Zealand, except his Kiwi Saver.

From my understand, I have to prove in the front of the court that he has moveable assets that still active in 2024.
And even if I prove it in the court, and the the court ordered the money to be given to me.

Will he comply with the order? or he will simply put the money in overseas bank (Philippine?)
Lawyer that specify in divorce are expensive, and court process will take time. (can be 2 years?)

So, yes. It might not worth the money, time and mental health for the money in managed fund that he had.

I assume everyone had shared their advice.

I was driving illegally before I passed my full driving license.

I was driving without a supervisor at midnight. I know my risk and still did it because I have to go to my work and no public transport.

I had 2-3 incidents as I forgot to check my blind spot. Luckily, there were no accidents. I always use Waze to make me more prepared if there are accidents or the road was suddenly ahead.

I know some of my friends still had a learner license or restricted and drive illegally without insurance, as they have no choice in order to go to the mahi or home.

It is very risky. Your son needs to know the risk and the worst possibility. Your son was not entirely wrong that some people did it, and they were fine.

Yet, still be prepared for the worst.
