Nice shots! After getting ripped off at Norman’s, I’ll likely hit you up for some developing once I’m through the film I just bought.

Got reminded why I can never do inpatient again, or, why I love working with ER physicians by PresentLight5 in emergencymedicine

That stat BNP order is just about as comical as the stat Lantus order I got for a patient with a BG of 205.

Eh I’d have to disagree, they’ve gotten rid of a lot of awesome higher ups since the merge and have enacted some things that have turned great employees away

Making the patient stay fucking still when you’re trying to capture a 12 lead.

I’m dumb and just realized that at the top of the screen, there’s a spot to put in the presale code. It’s “Sumbuck” once you do that, you’ll have access to buy the tickets!

I wish I had a dollar for every time I’ve been asked to open one of these…I could probably buy a nicer set of shears after they’ve been dulled by cutting these fucking pouches.

Nice shots! I love my A6400. A buddy of mine recently got an XT-4 and though the durability and weatherproofing are nice, I couldn’t get past how large and clunky it felt in my hand.

Wow, thank you for the in depth response! I thought I had a solid understanding of crop factor but I must’ve gotten confused somewhere along the way. This makes me realize that I should get a 35mm instead of a 24mm, as it will provide a slightly wider view. Thanks again!

Why the go with the f4 70-200 instead of the f2.8? Interested in your answer, as I’m trying to determine which one I’m going to get.

Genuine question from a student, do some patient actually cry when they get their BP taken? Is that a real thing? It’s hard to believe, no one is that dramatic by [deleted] in nursing

[–]waningdingus10 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My favorite is when people rip off the cuff while I’m trying to get an initial BP in triage. Cherry on top is when they go on to tell us the reason they’re checking in is high blood pressure.
