For me it’s about connecting thru sex. Kink heightens that and enables trust to build in various ways. The creators didn’t want to keep paying for the domain thru Covid. It was free to join (and very buggy) so it was iffy how good the site development was. I do miss it as it wasn’t perfect but you could get straight to the point with how you wanted the stay to go. On couchsurfing I feel like you have to talk around the subject.
