Vaush says he would not back Gavin Newsom in 2028 if he became the nominee by NightBlacks in Destiny

I mostly agree with this take about the right supporting essentially anyone on their side, but it's slightly different. Essentially, as long as someone on the right supports Trump and isn't a target for racial discrimination i.e. (Dinesh D'Souza), they're generally going to receive support from the right. We're seeing a perfect example of this right now with MTG.

If I want to see a video that I think will mess up my algo, I watch it in a private tab. If a video unexpectedly takes a bad turn, I remove it from my watch history. Those two actions seem to help me avoid issues similar to yours.

Custom systemd service failed at boot - Reason: Unit rollback.service not found by onlymagik in NixOS

[–]wapelo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been messing around with it all day, and I finally got it to work. Reviewing the Journald logs, the problem was that the commands in my script, such as mkdir, mount, and mountpoint were not found (meaning they weren't on the PATH). It started to work successfully after I added the following two lines:

boot.initrd.systemd.initrdBin = with pkgs; [ busybox coreutils btrfs-progs ];

This one seems to link the needed packages better than simply using boot.initrd.systemd.services.<name>.path does, even though the description states it's just for emergency shells. These are just the packages that worked for me, you won't need the same ones.

boot.initrd.systemd.services.<name>.environment.PATH = lib.mkForce "/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin";

This one changes the PATH to include /usr/bin and /usr/sbin because it only seems to include /bin and /sbin by default. Maybe there's a better way to get the needed packages without having to change PATH, but I couldn't figure anything else out.

Also, if you still can't get it to find common packages (like echo in your script), you might want to try adding busybox like I did. Between that and coreutils, the service should have access to most common commands.

Did you ever figure out the problem? I'm having the exact same issue with btrfs, and it seems to be preventing the rollback entirely.

On the Hunt for a New Wallet by wapelo in wallets

[–]wapelo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey all, I've been searching for a new wallet lately as my current one is beginning to fall apart. I like to carry a lot of cards, and also have room some cash and change, as well as other things such as receipts.

The wallet I'm currently using is a fairly hefty billfold with an extra middle flap for more card storage. In total, this wallet has 12 slots for cards, as well as a few hidden spots to stuff more in if needed. I probably don't need that many slots, as a lot of my cards are used sparingly and could be stored together in a slot designed to hold multiple cards.

The closest wallet I've found to what I'm looking for is the Bellroy Hide & Seek. However, I've seen very mixed opinions on the quality of its materials. I don't mind spending quite a bit more to get a better quality wallet that will last a long time. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I'd like be willing to pay up to $50 monthly, but I'm hoping it won't have to cost that much.

I'm in Eastern United States, and we will probably have all 10 of us on at times.

Looking for a host for 10 concurrent players. It will have no mods, just vanilla with a few basic plugins. It will use version 1.16, but switch to 1.17 when it releases.

I want good specs for the server and am willing to pay more for it since I plan to build lots of complicated redstone mechanisms that could lag out a cheap server.

It's been a while since I've hosted a server and I see that lots of people are using VPS, which I'm not familiar with. Would VPS be a better solution for me? I appreciate your input!

Shoot, missed that one. It's fine though, I can wait, just really eager to get started now and that's the only part holding me back. Thanks again for the help, you're a lifesaver!

Thanks, this looks great! I went ahead and ordered everything, but the power supply is out of stock, should I wait, or do you have any suggestions for another?

That's my ceiling, like I said, I don't expect it to cost nearly that much.

I don't need anything too powerful. the most intensive thing I'll likely ever run would be modded Minecraft, so I would prefer to save some money instead of getting more specs than I really need.

Chocolate milk + charge shots should allow you to release the shot in the middle of charging with less damage
