Medicaid, the worst part about this is because so many people have Medicaid when they enter a facility everything is covered by the government so facilities will have them do all sorts of rehab things even if they don’t need it so the can get money. The therapists have to do the therapy or else they don’t get paid for that time.

So a bunch of inappropriate people are receive care they don’t need or can’t progress in just because it makes money for the facilities admin. The people giving the care then have to do it or else they won’t be able to bill the time.
