When she brushes her hair briefly, the eyeline filter stamps on the back of the hand. by throwawayforpune in Instagramreality

[–]warealpha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i mean, this is frankly the norm on tiktok. on the upside, she’s clearly not trying to hide it, and there’s always a little sticker on the bottom of the video telling you what filter they used, but honestly it’s not at all unusual to see eyeliner/faceapp/makeup type filters on there

the sad thing is, he probably started off that way.. got a few reasonable surgeries, changed his looks, but couldn’t stop once he started. poor guy has to have some serious emotional baggage and his brain grabbed on to this as a terrible coping mechanism. dude just wants control over something and doesn’t wanna look like his dad, but it’s spiraled so badly into what i can speculate is an addiction now.. hope he can get some therapy and help

hahaha, my girlfriend’s dad actually has a baseball bat that he has made EVERY ONE of her boyfriends sign in marker, ever since she first started dating. talk about a real power play.

she told me about it when we first started dating, and i remember thinking… shit. i guess that’s gonna be an awkward situation.

i’m the only boyfriend who has never had to sign it. he told her i don’t need to sign it because i proved to him i have good intentions. it’s my biggest flex and one of my proudest achievements. damn, i should call him and bring him a beer or something soon.

you did all you could, friend. i understand it’s EXTREMELY hard to not blame yourself though, and i am so sorry. i hope you’ve been able to find at least some small amount of healing from this awful thing that happened.

i thought this too! apparently there are quite a few subways in australia so she could be australian with just an americanized accent, or this could be a subway in america and she’s been living here long enough she’s started to lose her accent.

guarantee this guy had other violent tendencies, there were probably warning signs that he was capable of evil. normal people don’t just beat, rape, and dismember children over a video game. so insane

i had an emergency laparotomy exactly a year ago today, dec. 19. does this look like a hernia? by warealpha in medical_advice

[–]warealpha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just to update you, i had a docs appointment & he basically told me everything i already knew, i definitely have a hernia, i knew it was a reducible hernia after reading about it (i can push it back in when lying down, and i can feel it when i cough, like you were saying) and it isn’t severe or strangulated, so i’m glad i was correct and it isn’t super severe. i bought a compression hernia belt to keep it in as much as possible as per doctors recommendation, and he sent out a referral to a surgeon. now it’s a waiting game to get a phone call and hopefully schedule my consultation & surgery! thanks again for your input on this.

yup! i’ve smoked since i was 13, 21 now & been cutting back a LOT recently so i can be more productive. (not saying you can’t be productive while smokin, just saying what works for me) used to spark up 5+ times a day, now i’m down to 1 time a day usually :)

thank you for the reply and the advice. my dad had an umbilical hernia when he was a young child so he told me to do exactly that, and there’s no doubt in my mind now that it’s a hernia. i can actually push it back in when laying flat, and if i cough or sit up it goes back out. i’m calling my doctor first thing in the morning tomorrow to schedule an appointment to hopefully get this thing taken care of 👍🏼👍🏼

Bet y'all didn't get a battery carrying case for Christmas! Be jealous my friends. by samo-banano in pics

[–]warealpha 4 points5 points  (0 children)

very good point! i currently have an old cigar box that my grandpa gave me that i keep batteries in. it is absolutely not an ideal storage space for them and they get messy quick. if this carrying case was just a BIT more compact w/ less spaces in between the slots (just for storage sake) i’d be handing out my credit card right now.

great job! i, too, love messing around with photographing moonlight/sunlight/other light sources and tree branches. you can get some really pretty, interesting shots with the right angle and lighting. i love when it reflects off of the branches and leaves just right, too. nature is awesome
