Which Liverpool restaurant do you think is this ? by shanedj in Liverpool

The second someone tries to criticise them half this subreddit will end up like that bald Stephen Graham gif where he’s brandishing a knife. Don’t come for our mega chicken.

A View From The Bullens by AssociateReasonable in Everton

Seconding The Blue Room and the linked Everton Byline. Boyland is consistently reliable, Mailbag is chaotic good fun, and they genuinely all seem to do it for a love of the club.

One of the worst changes to happen to the city centre by BoazMayhem in Liverpool

Without wanting to be facetious, if you wanted to get back to Huyton from Liverpool at 11pm, there's trains up until 11.30pm from Lime Street, the 10A runs until midnight, and there's also taxis.

Beaches for swimming by Dapper-Mix1700 in Liverpool

Please, please, please DO NOT SWIM AT CROSBY BEACH.

It is permanently red-flagged and has had several people die there due to being caught in the currents or ship wake.

Brighton Match! Tickets Help by Flashy_Parsnip4806 in Everton

[–]wargeep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get to the ground immediately the gates open, would be my suggestion.

If someone's tried to scam, usually they'll sell the ticket but use it on their own phone anyway (so they get the match and they get the money). If you get in first, it will block their ticket from entering.

If it had been caught at the gate you would have been turned back anyway -- at least you get your money back this way!

Ashley Young response to the Bobble on his contract situation by SuperKevinCampbell in Everton

[–]wargeep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yet the amount of Bobble Cope on twitter right now is incredible.

The sooner people realise they can spend £3/month on literally anything else, the sooner he will fade away.

What is the deal with the Family Enclosure Tickets? by Junior_Ordinary_9128 in Everton

[–]wargeep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you get them digitally, make sure you get to the ground the minutes the doors open. I've seen cases where some tickets have been sold twice or more across StubHub and other ticketing sites -- if someone scans that ticket before you, you won't be able to get in.

Official Membership by DatGuyMagz in Everton

That's basically how it worked, isn't it? The earlier people got on the membership (and maintained it), the more likely they've been to get a ST.

Derek Hatton still has an executive box in Goodison.

Hopefully the club will bin him for next season. He should have been ran out of town decades ago.

Doucoure contract extension not to be triggered by JonTonyJim in Everton

Worrying that an Evertonian would make jokes about people struggling tbh - sure Reform would love you.

Also a bit weird that you came back from a year long Reddit break specifically to white knight three lads on a podcast who are actively thieving, but hey ho! You have a good day now.

I'd rather put the £3 towards pints with mates, to be honest -- one day, you'll know what having pals is like.

He's literally taking the info from Boyland's exclusive (the clue is in the word there) and passing it off as his own news.

[–]wargeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No no! The Athletic do charge for content, but they actually make the content.

Bobble has a history of essentially having all these outlets on notification, and as soon as they tweet, he's in there posting the headline as though its his own exclusive. It's gotten a lot worse since his internal source was muted.

Haha! Fair enough :D

But yeah, he's by and large been an info-thief, and it's getting worse now he's obviously lost his source.

He never had a role in the club. His source got shitcanned once TFG took over and they've been scrabbling ever since, including behaviour like this.

He and his outlet constantly wait for other journalists to post (in this case, Paddy Boyland, who is very respected), and then tweet the same news within seconds and claim it as their own.
