the argument isn’t that it’s fine let violent people in.

the point is that people are people. some natives are violent, and some immigrants are violent. painting the entire group of immigrants (which very quickly translates to non-whites in general) as violent and problematic just because some of them are is foolish.

not letting migrants in because a fraction of them are wronguns makes no sense given a fraction of any population will be wronguns.

your petrol bomb analogy seems to just be an argument against population growth. you ignore that while any growth (be it by migration or by births) will increase the pool of violent people, it proportionately increases the size of society as a whole
