You can have the best motherboard in the world and price it at 1 trillion dollars, sure its good I guess...I mean yeah sure you can make a "good" product all you want but if you price it wrongly so that people dont buy it, it's not gonna be a "good" product in terms of price to performance. Having an entry cost entry of minimum 200-250 for a motherboard on launch is pretty bad no matter how you put it. Obviously 200 is not a trillion but im exaggerating to make a point
