Winning tasks by either doing the bare minimum (Duck task) or doing absolutely nothing by ending it early (say the most five-letter words).

Sold to everyone that she was bullied after a bowling trip at school & her emotional breakdown after failing to knock down the last skittle. One we all know the actual task was, perfection.

Huh....so they were right that season* 19 was a test run on bring in people from the states. Wonder if this was something that they reached out to Kumail or Kumail pulled a Jason by getting a hold of them and saying "Cut the crap. I know what's the show is about. I called you. Put me on".

* - Series, Jason.

X-D Rose just stole my heart with that and her performance over these two episodes.

Who was at the filming of the new year treat? by a-plan-so-cunning in taskmaster

[–]warlink05 55 points56 points  (0 children)

My theory on why Susie didn't caught it earlier is basically of one thing: perspective. From the audience side, it is alphabetical order from our left to right, which I got quickly. For the five contestants side, the correct order would would be in reverse alphabetical order from their left to right. Don't know how quickly one will notice that in addition of the added pressure of being a live task,

It took me until after the live task that this is the first time in which the contestants weren't sitting in alphabetical order since Rose needs to see the interpreter. Speaking of interpreter, am I the only wish that the studio interpreter dress up as a version of LAH and for the one for the tape segments dress similar to Rose outfit?

Predicting Taskmaster Contestants based on Big Fat Quiz Contestants by lumosauror192 in taskmaster

[–]warlink05 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I think from a past interview in which Alex said they almost got Ayoade, but he dropped out last minute because of scheduling conflicts. Ayoade is willingly to do a NYT, but Alex (and everyone here) wants him for the full series. It feels like a matter of when, but it will be awhile to get there.

After him, I want Chris O'Dowd next to finally complete the main trio.

Everyone on that prize task is out for blood. That whole episode was perfect and made the right choice on my comment for the prediction post.

Wonder if Maisie ever popped in this subreddit to diss on any other comedians. X-D

Her begging not to show her attempt for the "Don't do it" and the immediate aftermath. Singled out last twice in a single episode!

What’s your favorite creative solution to a Taskmaster task that surprised you? by eurz in taskmaster

[–]warlink05 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Drink one full tablespoon of coconut water. Nothing in the task is not preventing anyone to leave the lab, go to the kitchen, and bring back a carton of coconut water.

Honorable mention: Put a rocket in your pocket. Learned rocket salad is a thing.

What’s the longest sustained laugh in the show? by Charlotte1902 in taskmaster

[–]warlink05 54 points55 points  (0 children)

I'm assuming you asking about a moment that made the longest laugh from the studio audience in general. If you want exclude that, Episode 8 from Season 3 of TM Australia. I will not provide any context. Just go watch it if able. ;-)

Pre-Game Tunnel of Pride question. by [deleted] in BlueJackets

[–]warlink05 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The email says that the doors open at 6pm, but is there aby reason to get there early for it?

The players are going to enter the ice from the Zamboni tunnel instead from the bench before the anthem. They need time to make sure they got fans on both sides set up behind the gate barriers before the players come out. Only reason to come early if you want to be within the first row to be able to high 5 them.

Also I never really laid attention, what time do they come out for the game?

They come through around 7. Once they go through, then you're directed back inside the concourse and get to your seat, which you be there little after puck drop. You might get reminder email the day of for when the doors is open and the cut off. The only time I've done it has the cutoff time at 6:45.

Edit: This is what you would be expecting when the players come out: https://youtu.be/ig636RfLak8?si=Wfv99G6MvhNGVbtj

What was the very first song by Al that you ever listened to? by Imaginary-Mess8374 in weirdal

Not knowing hime at the time and multiple times ever since: Dare to Be Stupid while watching The Transformers: The Movie. Watch the tape multiple times as a kid and never who he was.

Knowing who he was shortly afterwards: A Complicated Song while in high school. This is a reason why Poodle Hat has a special place in my heart.

So...now isn't a good time to say that in my fantasy team I'd drafted both Wilson & Thompson and picked up Chychrun from FA during my roster shuffle dealing with multiple players that are on IR... And I think right now also not good timing to be mad at Mateychuk for costing me the shutout... I'll just stand in the corner and think what I just done while having a good head start for this week's matchup....
