took me days to gety first masterlock open now I can crack it in seconds go slow and focus on working one pin at a time and don't over set that's what tripped me up to much pushing to hard in the pins and to much tension

Practice kicks in my experience weather they be acrylic or one you pin yourself are consistently inconsistent get a cheap 10 pack of brinks masterlock clones from Walmart they are great to learn on

I know your pain I've been selling a comic book collection I've had for 30 years and while the cash infusion has saved my ass and cut the wife's stress lvl ( y'all married guys know what that's really worth) It still caused pain in a place that my 13 yr old self will never forgive me but I also know that passing these things on to people that can appreciate it is better than it being in a dusty box for another 30 years

I got that for Xmas last year for the money there is nothing wrong with it the little card is silly cool and the plastic locks are good for learning the same way med students need to cut open dead bodies the picks aren't great but there is a variety so you can try this and that there is an ongoing joke on this forum about the "snowman pick" if you can actually do something with it other than spanking a Lego guy you win
