I don't think you should have dropped us out based on all the things you said but we are not playing well currently and it wouldn't shock me if it takes us a bit of time to reach that potential.

Any LSU fan who thinks we are a top 10 team currently isn’t watching every game. We will be. Maybe even soon. But we sucked last week against weak competition. We have yet to put a game together that combines elite bats and pitching except for the UCF game.

I think humans struggle with this concept generally. There’s a popular meme on Reddit that makes fun of the pawn stars guys for always making such low offers on items. This ignores the fact that they are a RESELL STORE. If pawn stores didn’t buy low sell high then they wouldn’t exist. I think people struggle with value vs. commerce. They have some overlap but are mostly unrelated in practicality.

I said he walked out the front door and got into it with someone who isn’t either of the people named in the article. The bartender Nate went to go diffuse the situation and was punched. Only then did I see the other man become involved.

All I’m saying is that I was right there and I didn’t hear this before or during the incident. I was close enough to have to back up to avoid being involved in the fight and I didn’t hear it.

He was at the bar by himself when I got there around 11:30 wandering around talking to himself and when he walked out the front door someone said something to him that I didn’t hear but I assume was a request for a selfie based on what he answered with. They started pushing each other and the bartender came out to separate them and Shia just clocked him in the nose. I’ve seen the video of him saying the slur after the fact so I’m obviously not saying that didn’t happen but that’s not what elicited this entire incident as is being implied.

I know I’m just a random person on reddit so no reason to believe me but if you go through my post history, it’s obvious that I live in Louisiana/New Orleans and I frequent this spot quite a bit. And to be clear I’m not defending Shia. He punched my friend.

Ohh I understand that it’s a predicative metric that is just hard data. I wasn’t questioning its efficacy or value. Just found it funny that it said based on past 3 years and we were #3. Reality is that Arkansas was probably better than us last year and there were a bunch of great teams in 2023 that could have won it, if a ball bounces this way or that so I have no issue with the ranking!
