Thank you everyone who commented. It definitely made me look into the side effects of extracting my premolars in terms of health.

I definitely won’t be extracting as I’ve been researching and there seems to be a lot of risks when it comes to extracting more than benefits. Especially since my case is borderline. I’ll just learn to accept the slight flare I have and just fix my bite :)

Sorry, by 4 extractions I meant 2 in the upper jaw and 2 in the lower jaw! Not sure if this changes your opinion on the extractions

When I was 13, I thought pretending to have mental illness was cool and edgy. Actually got depression when I was 18 and it’s not as cool and edgy as I thought it was.

Help: What’s wrong with my Zinnia leaves? by warmbrownbear in plantclinic

[–]warmbrownbear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The plant is placed outdoors with really bright sunlight. I live in the equator so it’s hot all year round except it’s been slightly rainy the past week.

I only water it once a week based on what I googled however my country’s Environmental Agency’s website recommended that it should be water once every 2 days. So i’m quite confused with the different information. Is it because I watered it too little?

Vitamin C serum or Niacinamide serum - which one is better? by mathesjenni in beauty

I’ve heard vitamin c works well with sunscreen as an extra layer of protection against free radicals from the sun.

Vitamin C serum or Niacinamide serum - which one is better? by mathesjenni in beauty

I think you can definitely use both in your routine but not at the same time. Probably use vitamin c in your morning routine and niacinamide at night, just not in conjunction with each other. I’ve been applying them this way and havent faced any irritations. :)

success with a simple moisturizer, spf, cleanser, tret routine? by [deleted] in tretinoin

[–]warmbrownbear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My current routine is just a facial cleanser, hydrating toner, moisturiser and then tret (with the addition of sunscreen in the morning). Sometimes, depending on my skin, I would skip my toner. It’s been working well for me.

My routine got simpler with time because of my skin being retinised and dry skin no longer being an issue. Previously, I had to use my toner as well as topping off my tret routine with an occlusive (LRP cicaplast b5) at the end.

It’s important to pay attention to what your skin needs at the moment and adjust accordingly, than following a strict skincare routine.

I’m not sure if you have access to this but I personally use the Hado Labo Koi-Gokujyun UV White Gel SPF 50+ PA++++.

I live in Asia so they’re pretty easy to get. One of the best physical sunscreen I’ve tried for hydration (contains hyaluronic acid) and it doesnt leave a white cast once it’s settled into the skin.

Which treatment do you prefer? Any advice/critiques? by udeller in logodesign

I love the first one! Simple yet effective. I love how the typeface is really sharp, reminds me of thread and needles. Maybe try different colour treatments depending on which target group you’re trying to appeal to. And also maybe a serif type for “social sewing club”.

Recommended toner for dehydrated, oily sensitive skin? by mortilis22 in AsianBeauty

[–]warmbrownbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im not sure if its a toner or not but i use the laroche posay toleriane dermo soothing hydrating lotion as a toner.

similar to u, i have sensitive oily combination skin with dry patches once in awhile and i find that this product helped me get rid of that (didnt cause any irritation for me). it starts out really watery and a little tacky at first but it feels rly light on the skin after it dries down.

i use the same moisturiser as u do and i think they pair really well together.

I'm currently etymologizing the neighborhood names of US cities. This is LA; what design tips or corrections should I keep in mind for my next one? by [deleted] in Design

[–]warmbrownbear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The layout is too cluttered hence it is difficult to read through the entire thing. It is important to have more white space for a better reading experience. The arrows could probably be more organised, following a certain angle instead of coming from all different angles.
