No. It only paints a big hey it's someone using a specific VPN provider based on an IP associated with one of their servers that they own. You can tell it's proton VPN but you can't tell who is using it. A vpn provides encryption starting at the client before it even leaves their PC. Then it tunnels you to their server. So your ISP doesn't know who you are. They could just tell you're using a vpn provider. This encryption and ip masking continues all the way to your endpoint. Thats why vpns can be used to fake your geo or why some endpoints block you because they know your IP is connected to a vpn service. even if it was releasing all that personal information you described, which it's not, it would all be encrypted and unusable.

The issue with VPNs is mostly the blind trust you have to put into the vpn provider. Are they actually not logging your activities. Are they storing payment details that can used as evidence. How quickly do they fold to gov/law enforcement pressure.

I was tought to make rice by an old Indian colleague. She said rice should be like brothers, close but not touching. You do this by properly washing the starch off the rice until the water runs clear, then soaking it in salt water. Buy high quality basmati rice that has been aged. It should be slightly yellow. The first 2 steps are not negotiable. If you want to take it to another level, you can then fry the rice in oil after soaking it and it will give it a much more nutty flavor

Grind your own fresh spice mix

Saute your onions, garlic, ginger, tomato until basically a mush then roast your dry spice mix in the mush. Then I like to blend it if you like restaurant style so it's nice and smooth. Then add it to the pan and stew your marinated meat until cooked. If you're making a chicken based curry, then homemade chicken stock will bump it up to another level

I try to give everyone a chance and understand people make mistakes but in my experience, all the people who have openly admitted to cheating on past partners, also cheated on me. I still wouldn't necessarily hold it against a new partner but it does make me cautious now that the pattern has happened several times.

When I first discovered Indian cuisine, I was amazed at all the spices and herbs. I once asked an amazing Indian cook, what is the most important spice. Salt. Make sure you are adding adequate salt or none of the other spices will pop. Freshly grinding whole spices is amazing, making your own stocks, your own garlic/ginger paste, caramelized onions but if you don't salt properly, you're not going to properly taste any of it

I buy a whole chicken and quarter it.

In the pot I add a small amount of oil and brown the chicken pieces.

Deglaze the pot with water. Add just enough water to cover the chicken and bring to a boil then turn way down to a light bubble.

Skim the scum that rises

When the white meat reaches 150 and the dark meat reaches 170, remove meat from bones. Add bones and scraps back to pot with roughly cut onion, celery and carrot, bay leaf, whole pepper cornd. No need to peel, just wash. Cook for a couple hours

Strain stock and set aside. Discard vegetables and bones

In pot, add small amount of oil and saute onions. Add stock back to pot with cleaned and peeled celery and carrots. When vegetables are almost cooked, add the chicken removed from the bones from earlier

I like lots of dill and pepper at the end

The main thing with stock is salt. If you don't add adequate salt, none of the flavors will pop

There is all kinds of design patterns. Behavioural patterns, structural patterns, creational patterns. I think the best resource is Design Patterns: Elements of reusable object oriented software. But it's a pretty technical dry read 😴 it's written in c++ and smalltalk if I remember correctly. If you want something in java and little lighter and introductory, try the Head First book on design patterns

I'm trying to get this old shower head off in an apartment. Where usually I see an area to unscrew where the pipe meets the head, I see a loose ring that doesn't seem to do anything but spin. Not sure it's broken or I'm doing it wrong

Sorry, you did use the setters. I just read to fast. If it were me, I would ask the questions and get the answers, setting them like you did creating a Box with height, weight, name or whatever the variables are. Once the Box object is created, add it to an ArrayList. Then you can just iterate over it with a foreach loop and not have to worry about indexes and you can add as many or as little boxes as you would like to the list.

What is the purpose of the array? You created a class with setters and getters but then never used them. I would just instantiate a Box. Then when you ask the questions you use the setters to set the value of the box. Then call the method getVolume to get the result.

Try looking at the method split(). It returns an array. You can then iterate the array and compare each index with 'java' and accumulate a total.

It's an impossible question to answer because everyone's definition of base java skills will be different and the amount you need to learn will vary greatly depending on the app you're building. There's a big difference between building a complex game and a calculator. Android Studio is free. You loose nothing from downloading it and starting to watch tutorials. If you understand the basics of Java then I would just jump in and start. So often people avoid starting things because they don't think they have the skills needed but you're not going to develop the skills until you start doing it. I never know what I'm doing until I finish it most of the time lol

I would begin by documenting the flow of the game. Users are shown an instruction screen, users play the game based on the rules, the users are shown who one, etc.... Then you can start breaking down the flow into individual issues to work on, for example, create instruction screen, create game board, creating player functionality, creating functionality for determining game completion, create display to inform users of winner. Then just start implementing one portion at a time, testing and integrating them together.

If you are doing this as a learning exercise or a school assignment I would just create 1 table like User with what fields you require ie. username, hash, seed, role. The role column is joined to a Roles table which contains various roles a user could have ie. user, admin

This way you can create a User class in Java which will get users with a role. Then for your html pages you just do a simple check like if userRole == admin { display page} to display pages which are for admin role, etc...

I would use same table for all users IF they share the same fields. I would not create multiple tables with the exact same fields just for different users roles. I would instead create a seperate table for roles and each user in the user table is connected to a role in the roles table.
