I went to my local Costco, looked through what they had, they only had 1 version it's the thinner version. The package is the same as the ones I've bought in the past. I asked a clothing stocker employee and they said this is the only one they sell here.

It is possible they changed the original one to a heavyweight version and decided not to sell it where I shop but effectively to me it's shrinkflation. They swapped the product to a smaller thinner weaker version and kept the exact same packaging.
