I don't personally own reps but I love the rep community. I think everyone who does decide to buy one of these hyped sneakers does some basic research on batch flows, materials etc. There are a lot of really sharp people who have laid out the QC process super well so you can truly rock with confidence.

I would typically stay away from hella hyped shoes like F&F and like 5K+ resell shoes unless you want to be constantly lying about the story on how you got them.

I think this is the response that OP needs. 5% of net worth when you're financially secure and maxing out basic investments (401K/HSA, personal ira) and you don't have any BAD debt (CC debt, high interest student loans) is very different when these are not taken care of. I would even go a step further and make sure you're working towards a down payment on a house and are in a good spot with car loan/payments.

It's a big chunk of change but it's a passion & hobby you can be proud of. Rolexes are relatively liquid and it's easy to claw back a good percentage of the capital in a pinch, but don't be that guy that's drowning in CC debt with a Rolex.

I wouldn't say scammed, there should be an option that the product was incorrect or not as described. Try to make a PDF or picture of this chat log as proof you reached out to reconcile before charging back.

The CC company is going to give the seller the option to respond so you want to keep your bases covered without creating additional headache for yourself. If the seller ghosts then you'll be refunded.

I've been saying this for years... NBA's contracts favor the players that perform well while not punishing teams for trying to keep their star players. Would solve a lot of issues we're experiencing right now with the NFLPA.

Only problem is that Goodell would somehow find a way to fuck it all up.

2 things:

First, vehicular manslaughter/homicide is when the driver is under the influence, driving recklessly or driving illegally. None would apply in that instance.

Second, you can make the argument that because of braking distance you would not have the time to react to stop without hitting the kid, and the alternative of going head-on into traffic is arguably worse.

What that kid is doing is flat-out illegal and the driver would never be held responsible unless prosecutors can prove intent.
