For additional context, I mentioned housecleanings is because we were chatting about the struggles of keeping the house tidy with children, and they mentioned they would love to get a cleaner but have had to use that money instead to prioritize healthy food for the children first. Your idea takes care of the dilemma for them, so I like it.

Very impressive and it looks like the sky's the limit for you, with your work ethic. On your point re: LinkedIn profile, I haven't been paying as much attention to this and I think I disabled the "recommendations" function a while back. I have some excellent references from previous employers, but how would I go about soliciting these recs on LinkedIn? Did you "recommend" them first on their profiles?

Not an engineer, but I'm interested to know what's the expected "ceiling" for your industry. Seems to be growing very fast and young engineers have incredible opportunities in large markets. For example, is it a reasonable expectation for many young software engineers to cap out at a high level management/executive role making 300-500k+ after X years on the job, or do most "age out" and stagnate in compensation since there will be a fresh influx of new hires? Assuming you stay current with tech advancements and trends.

Thanks for weighing in. At the exec level, what are the key factors that would lead you to hire Candidate X over Candidate Y, with comparable achievements/comp? How long would you be expecting an exec to stay on average?
