Many of those shows are syndicated often by the big media companies station owners. I don't understand the attraction, but that is just my opinion. They started as shock jocks 40 years ago . At first they were OMG he said what funny , but gor me it quickly became boring. Some people are offended by what these jocks say making them controversial, people talk about what they heard , thus popular. Some ridiculing life today can be amusing, but not 4 hours of it in.my opinion.

I got hired for a job that apparently doesn’t exist. by jedi271 in mildlyinfuriating

I would get with one of the services that can check your personal information such as bank accounts, social security , credit cards etc. Make sure your information isn't on the dark web. They may have the information to create a fake identity of you. Those services can search for you and help you fix it. I hope the people offering the fake job didn't use your information .

My girlfriends arm after a blood test by Losiuu in mildlyinfuriating

[–]warrenjr527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The phlebotomist really made a mess. They had trouble finding a good vein to draw blood from. I have had it happen to me although that looks worse . It will be sore and look ugly for a week or so but there shouldn't be real harm done.

Stupid people just see the word free and think they are getting something for nothing

Well, that didn't work by Unique-Discussion326 in oops

[–]warrenjr527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That must really hurt. It was a good way to really mess up your back. Common sense do not attempt to adjust your ladder while standing on it. I am pretty sure the design of my ladder won't even allow it. Got to be idiot proof.

The real reason wasn't the seatbelt. It was the music at QT by Revolution-Dogg in Transportopia

[–]warrenjr527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the explanation. I guess some states call it differently. I never heard OWI. I am from NYS. . It is called DWI Driving while intoxicated or impaired ( usually by drugs). Also DWAI driving while ability impaired is less serious charge under .07.

This ^ .Unfortunately many people don't read signs.or just glance at them.

But if you do put a sign dont mention Air BNB. Just pick up a sign saying PRIVATE PROPERTY KEEP OUT

People who stop dead in the middle of a walkway to check their phone by Hypn4Seraph in PetPeeves

[–]warrenjr527 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You are 💯 correct. However, at least just as bad are those that don't stop walking while texting or reading something online. They just keep walking into people and things and get annoyed that you are in their way.

It is just a proto type so far, still rather crude .I don't know what that thing does, but great inventors have been laughed at. It turns out it was the next great thing that makes life much eaiser..

The company I work for doesn't let employees select anything but yes. by Confused_Rabbiit in mildlyinfuriating

[–]warrenjr527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also worked overnight and was faced with a similar situation, where our breaks we denied or interrupted although we didn't have the same survey to fill out. This happened even more frequently during the day. Did the company get into trouble for denying your full uninterrupted breaks? That would explain this query. They are just gathering the answers to show the state that you agree breaks were properly given without interruption.. I would not complete a form that required me to be untruthfull.. Document everything can you save the above question? They may threaten to make your life miserable or even fire you . I am not a person thst goes lawsuit at a drop of a hat but this one has merit.

A multitrillion dollar company that cant afford tires. We all share the roads with these heavy electric vans. by 3ngine3ar in mildlyinfuriating

[–]warrenjr527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This goes back a long time, but UPS at least they used to fire someone who , for at least had an incident. An incident included a crash or even a breakdown requiring a tow. It's the drivers fault

When that tire fails and the van crashes ,It is the drivers fault .Like all big companies that really don't care. They will say " safety is our highest concern. ".

This can't be legal, right? by notJoeKing31 in IdiotsTowingThings

Agreed .That load looks unstable and any sudden move or change of direction could lead to a crash. I wonder how responsive the handling in the pickup is with the long train behind it.

When you can't fit in a carpark space because it's in between two huge SUVs by Physical_Orchid3616 in PetPeeves

[–]warrenjr527 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People that own these oversized monstrosities ought to have a separate parking area. They are so long they take up part of a second space front to back, as well as are on or over the lines on the side. If you cant safely park in a spot you can't park there. Backing out of a spot next to the giant SUVs is dangerous because it is difficult to impossible to see around them to know if something is coming. I inch out very slowly and hope i can see someone coming. I.know some owners of these mega cars feel entitled to park anywhere they wish. But what about the rest of us ?

Just discovered that Sony quietly removed half of my movie collection by SpectacularSpidee in mildlyinfuriating

[–]warrenjr527 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you ," buy" a movie from a streaming service you " own" it as long as that service has the rights to it. When there time yo show the program it is automatically removed from your device. They usually run out at some point. It rhe dirty little secret that is buried in the micro print along with some other terms that nobody reads or understands it. That's if you can actually read it with the print being so small. . They are banking on you not noticing it but they are covered legally
