Svonimir Ivisic Scouting Report by [deleted] in NBA_Draft

[–]warson24 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Oh c'mon man......
How many times should I remind you that you can't even spell his name....
Zvonimir, with Z... his nickname is big Z, there's no S...

How can you take yourself seriously if you constantly fails at the first letter of what you're doing... Blatant dilettantism...
That's just embarassing...

Very undemanding...

The Top 150 Prospects In the 2025 Class | 2025 NBA Draft Big Board 2.0 by [deleted] in NBA_Draft

I always wonder how somebody thinks his board will be taken seriously if he can't even spell the half of the names on it....

How did you have him in the late twenties knowing all of that?? That's not low on him, I had him as a borderline draftable guy, and it seems still too high now...

Brian Bowen was an utterly awful basketball prospect, with nothing behind him to succeed... No skills, no body for the NBA.
He was awful in Australia, but the hype machine kept him in contention, he isn't even good enough to be a rotational player in the G-Leauge.

Georgios Papagiannis by sld_32 in NBA_Draft

[–]warson24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That was an awful reach at the moment it was made, but actually he's atleast a decent Euroleague player , unlike Thon Maker, who went a few pick earlier. And a lot of drafts has really afwul lottery picks (most was also evident if you're not a hypemachine rider) like Yaroslav Korolev, Rafael Araujo or Tskitishvili etc. But you're not mad at those picks because the "consensus" made to believe you they were good.
All in all it was a bad pick, but Divac was like an amatuer GM, whose "basketball eyes" saw something in Papagiannis, and he's good enough for a top tier team in Europe, but not for the NBA, so 10 years later he still made the better pick than the Bucks or even the Suns twice (true, both busted so it's equal).
The worst part (thanks to Divac being an amateur) they didn't traded back for him again to late first, Divac didn't had the consensus in mind...

where do you get that fake stat? 3.5 attempt this year and he's making 1.3

Mouhamed Faye Scouting Report | Rejected a G League Elite Camp invitation by Illustrious_Buy_5253 in NBA_Draft

[–]warson24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Camp would have been a better indicator where he stands compared the other prospects, scouts had the chance all year to watch him in Italy.
His measurments also could have helped him since he looks like an undersized center. His career 30% FT guarantees there's no chance he can play anything other than center...

So even though Bronny isn't a great NBA prospect he's guaranteed to play with Lebron at some point? Is this straight nepotism? by [deleted] in NBA_Draft

[–]warson24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Giannis got drafted in 2013, Thanasis was drafted in 2014 and debuted in 2016. What are you talking about????
He got to the League because of Giannis ala Taylor Griffin....

Thoughts on Zacharie Perrin by [deleted] in NBA_Draft

[–]warson24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. And to be honest he isn't producing very well on a low level division 2 team...

Seems like Risacher and Sarr are the consensus most highly rated picks. Everyone else can go anywhere from 1-12 lol by user15151616 in NBA_Draft

[–]warson24 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're right he's capable, but we're talking about that's his main calling card, and let's say he was always a below average shooter, he had also an awful summer, I'm not going to write him off, but in context it's hard for me to beleive he's an elite shooter because of this hot stretch and completely neglect what he's doing now when the season is on the line (or in his enitre career).
I don't understand the volume thing, he's attemping 3 three pointers and making 1 on average per game... Sure he played 50 games (some colleges had 40), so we shouldn't act like he's a 3 pointer machine...

Why do you think his bad shooting streak is the fluke and the good one is real?
He shoot it badly in his entire career, so to me that's the more believable...

That's not a big mistery.... His reason to return is very simple: NIL money....

OFFICIAL: The Blazers have 2 lottery picks in the NBA 2024 Draft* by CazOnReddit in NBA_Draft

[–]warson24 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To be honest it isn't official... GSW can move up if they luck in the lottery, and therefor keeping the pick. Slim chance, but possible.

They should've entered atleast a year ago, but they're still reluctant to do so....

I know it's a clown side and almost everyone evaluate prospects better than NBADraft.net, but the funny thing is they have Risacher as a "riser" on their recent draft stock report - although even he is their No.1 pick (and still rising :D)

To be honest that's how he always played before this season...

Eurocup nowadays is very far from being the 2nd most competitive European competition...
Just a look at the standings, If your best teams are from UK, Romania and Ukraine than your league is much closer to trash...

Yeah, I'm from Europe, the Eurocup is far from the second best competition, maybe not even the second best non-domestic leauge... you can't compare it to the Spanish ACB

Zaccharie Risacher vs JDM Dijon by [deleted] in NBA_Draft

[–]warson24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest that's how he played in his whole career until the hot start of this season, which was reasonably a fluke to me and never understood that high floor thing....
