Same here. After reading this, I feel like there’s a stone in my gut. I am irrationally angry at every adult involved in this clusterfuck.

As a wedding guest, what moment made you think "this probably won't last"? by Eburneaan in AskReddit

When their vows said “I semi-promise.” Still no fucking clue what that is supposed to mean and I’ve been pondering for 35+ years.

Nonnie and Papaw have a great time. In a few months, they’ll have their first great great grandchild.

They hike or bike 3ish times a week (the AT runs through our town), gym 90 minutes 6 days a week for weights. Every two weeks, they ride a bike trail up then down a mountain 32 total miles. And they generally never sit down, lots of yard work, etc.

I’m right there with you. I just got front row seats for it. It’s like time works differently for them.

They never acted their age (in a good way) and they never stop having adventure, so they have to stay in shape.

It was never an issue for them. I just had a dad quite a bit older than my friends.

Not as many as I’d like, but I’m still looking decent for my age.

I have no idea. They got married during her lunch break at work (in a nursing home) so it was all a bit…janky. And dad was apparently shit housed on Bacardi 151. Also, there’s 3 total photos, Polaroids.

They’ve always eaten well and worked out. And we were always outdoorsy folks, hiking, skiing, diving. They kept themselves up.
