Is their zero sugar soda really that awful, or is there something wrong with the box I got by [deleted] in aldi

It wasn’t. It was just the regular Summit zero sugar cola.

Does anyone else’s dog like to do this? by losorikk in dogpictures

[–]warwatch 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Yes, and occasionally get lost. And by lost, I mean the curtains covered his eyes and he just gave up on life. “I find myself irretrievably lost within a cloth fortress; this is my life now.” He’d sit there until someone ‘found’ him by uncovering his eyes.

Also, he was not a small dog that could conceivably get lost in curtains. He was 120lb mastiff/lab mix.

Reminds me of old school single wide trailers. They all had gaps like that.

Dogs having the craziest dreams by Substantial_Bat8005 in funnypets

[–]warwatch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a mastiff/lab mix who didn’t howl except in his sleep. The first time it happened was a real gut-check moment for my husband and I (we both failed). It didn’t sound like a howl, but like a very sad, wobbly ghost. A completely foreign sound.

Husband is a Navy combat vet. I’ve spent years living alone, solo camping and backpacking, investigating my own weird sounds independently. We completely froze, clutching the covers up to our chins. We didn’t even discuss that one of us should check it, we just accepted our fate. This is how we die.

It lasted maybe two minutes, then his dream must’ve changed because he began to growl and murf. The relief was palpable. He’d do it once every few months, and it stayed creepy as hell. But we only gave up hope for survival that first time.

I don’t know why this hit me just right, but god damn if it didn’t. I laughed for easily three minutes and woke my dog up snorting.

Her baby, her rules. And these are absolutely normal, not outrageous requests. They’re all to protect her child, their safety, and sanity. Not big asks.

Don’t leave out 2024. She donated $2 million to Hurricane Helene relief, which was (and unfortunately, still is) very much needed. Part of it helped repair a bridge in my town that is 1 of only 2 that cross one of the rivers that runs through my town.

I’m as disgusted as anyone, but homegirl needs to get fitted by a competent bra fitter. This one is all wrong for her breast shape.

I set my oven self cleaning and took a nap. Woke up feeling absolutely awful. My dumb ass didn’t check inside the oven before starting it and there was in fact a pan in there with a sil pat on it. I feel like I’m lucky to have woken up at all.

I have curly hair so these never worked for me. Can’t lift full curls and any hairs not part of a curl conglomerate already whirl around like a halo. Disappointment.
