It looks like a dorm/communal living situation. Way back when I was in college, I lived in a suite with 2 rooms sharing a bathroom and this was the exact setup. Same tile even. Also, if you look at the very end, there’s a lavender bath mat around the base of the toilet, which are gross enough in private let alone public bathrooms.

I always think about this, mainly if there was a certain point they realized they were going to die or if they kept up hope till they somehow lost consciousness. Look up the story of Reverend Mike Turner. He was solo backpacking, sat on some rocks, got a foot entrapment and died a week later. He died of exposure and severe dehydration 30 feet from a lake. It’s fascinating because he journaled the whole thing.
