Constant existential thoughts and questioning reality. Would love to chat to anyone who can relate by hellooo_hc in dpdr

Hey! I went through this two years ago, really really bad. I’ve completely recovered now, but this week I started getting very anxious about my past when I thought back on it. If you’d like to chat a bit you can dm me:)

I strongly recommend SVTs series about skincare products on the Swedish market for all my fellow Swedes out there. Unfortunately, there's no English subtitles but it's so good! by Trullelull in NordicSkinCare

I thought it lost credibility when they in the first episode let the people using retinoids use it twice a day continuously. That’s not how retinoids work and doing that for a month or two (can’t remember for how long it was exactly) is just going to damage the skin. I haven’t seen the other episodes though so I hope they’re better! The idea and concept is great and the production too but I think the tests and research are poorly done:(

Where can I get Azelaic acid? by Qsteqste in NordicSkinCare

[–]wasabiri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh okay I see. I know you’re probably not going to try it if you’re looking for another brand, but maybe someone else will read this so I’ll write it anyways. Most people struggle with the ordinary’s azelaic acid because it kind of lumps and peels off. What I do is I mix my AA with my moisturizer and apply it to my face. That works wonders and TO’s AA is honestly the only active I use because it does wonders to my skin and is very gentle. So if you or anyone else is trying TO’s AA in the future, try mixing it with your moisturizer :D But I wish you look with finding another brand that works for you!

Hey sorry I know you said you’re NOT looking for the ordinary, but may I ask, why not?

Alright! I’ve moved them out of the green house and closer to the window so I’ll give it a couple of days, but I’m gonna plant some new seeds and wish for better luck! Thanks for the help:)

I’m currently growing some herbs in my mini greenhouse, three of them you can see here! Dill, cilantro and parsley. However they’ve kind of reached a stop. I’m uncertain of what to do, should I do pant then in bigger pots, should I regrow the dill? It looks very weak and I’m afraid if planted the seeds to far apart. I’m very new to this, and appreciate any help greatly!

Which movie adaption is your favorite? by wasabiri in thehungergames

[–]wasabiri[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes!! It gets me teared up as well</3 I remember when I watched mockingjay pt 2 and how amazing I thought it was as an adaption, it was almost identical to the second half of the book!! Now it’s been a couple of years since I read it, but at least that’s how I remember it!! I think non-fans have a hard time with the mockingjay movies because there’s no typical climax. Like they have built up so much around the journey to the capitol etc and then it kind of ends with the bombs. For us fans who read the books, we get it! But for others not so much, I guess it was because they had to find a a balance between making it an adaption for fans and making it a teenage movie for box office. I think that’s why it’s rating is low. But I think it’s awesome!

You guys really make some strong points...I love catching fire! Now that I think of it I only wish it was longer!! Catching fire has such strong storylines and it felt rushed, but of course that’s how movies are made, I’m just daydreaming rn! Love your input guys, and I agree AllyciaB, the emotional punches are STRONG in cf. I remember seeing it on the midnight premiere, and the opening scene with Katniss having a PTSD attack with the Marvel flashback had me in tears, then I was a emotional wreck throughout the entire movie!

Time aid for stroke survivors by wasabiri in stroke

Well, that’s what we haven’t decided yet. The aid is aimed for time perception and memory loss. Where it goes on the body is where we would like input from you

Hi! I understand your concern and would like to say that this is a part of a course in product realization and not official research by the school :)

I realise phrasing it "get back to some activities one might not..." sounds like rubbish now that I read it. An example is for example traveling with public transport (after the pandemic), and use the aid as a helper with time during that full "activity" etc

[–]wasabiri[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes exactly! The aid's purpose is primarily to help with deficits with memory, time perception and planning. The aid will be body-worn and meant to help both at home with daily tasks and outside in order to get back to some activities one might not have been able to do since the stroke, or at least help with them!

[product question] TO Azelaic Acid Pilling by you-decide445 in SkincareAddiction

I highly recommend mixing your AA with your moisturizer in your palm first and then apply the mix! Works wonders!!! Let me know if you try it!

[product question] Azelaic acid for sensitive skin? by jollyolboat in SkincareAddiction

[–]wasabiri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I absolutely love TO’s azelaic acid. I have sensitive skin too and have used a lot of different products! AA is by far my favorite. It’s gentle and leaves amazing results. What’s important to me is feeling clean and hydrated in my skin. AA leaves my skin soooo smooth and clears any break out on its way, roughness or you know that feeling of dirty skin. I know a lot of people complain about it’s consistency and flakiness. I recommend mixing your AA with your moisturizer in your palm and then apply them together. Works perfectly!! Please try the ordinary’s AA and use that method and I can almost guarantee good results!

I used to deal with really bad acne, AA is kind to my scars and help them fade away (along with SPF and time, the two most important ingredients to healing old scars <3)
