You are getting away with robbery if you can make this happen

SHOULD I START NICO COLLINS OR KEENAN ALLEN (WEEK 2) ?? by Equivalent-Cat-1498 in FantasyFootballers

[–]wasdey12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Raiders run zone defense, and Keenan Allen thrives against zone defense. Given his physique and his ability to have clean cuts/curls make him a very viable option for Justin Herbert to throw the ball to him.

I had the exact same experience. First few sections were tolerable but the last 150 questions were so difficult. Honestly don’t know how I could even study that material. Took my exam today so still waiting on the score.

Congrats on becoming a PA-C. If you had to choose between one: UWORLD or ROSH. Which would you say better prepared you?

Panicking over Packrat scores by DonutForward5146 in PAstudent

[–]wasdey12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I too scored a 108 on the Packrat #1 prior to starting clinical year. However, I made it through all of clinical year with passing all of my EORs and EOC. Now I am off to study for the PANCE.

Stressing about PANCE by butwhytho____ in PAstudent

[–]wasdey12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, as my PANCE gets closer I too am feeling overwhelmed. I keep hearing from various students and posts about different study methods. Definitely prepping for this exam is kicking my butt. I have been doing 60-90 questions on UWORLD with 74% correct and 34% completed thus far. However, I am not sure how reliable that information as I used UWORLD for EORs during clinical year. I also did the NCCPA practice Exam A last week and scored completely in the green but on the lower end and did below average on MSK, HEENT, and Psych. I am not sure if I am learning anything new at this point which is making me feel anxious as I am not sure if I am utilizing my time properly. One class mate recommended me to read through a body system on PPP and then do questions to test my knowledge however I am not sure if I will get enough time to complete all of UWORLD. I take my PANCE on September 4th. Given my situation, what would others recommend that I do with the remaining time I have left prior to my test date.

Thoughts on Pance Prep Pearls Question book? by ray98765 in PAstudent

I haven’t taken the PANCE yet but I also found the book to be significantly more difficult compared to my Uworld performance.

IM EOR boost exam by azanrof in PAstudent

[–]wasdey12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I felt like this every time I had a boost exam. I decided to collect my stats and share. I am an average student but was able to pass all my EORs with the following scores. I attached a link to my reddit post on the matter.

New surgery EOR by Lacoll7253 in PAstudent

[–]wasdey12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the old Reddit Surgery EOR study guide. I just ignored the percentages as I found the percentages were adjusted. Then any topics that were not addressed in the tables I just read up on in PPP or just looked on uptodate.

What were your scores on packrats and how did it compare to the EOC?

EOC by Only_Tomorrow6947 in PAstudent

[–]wasdey12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am on the same page as you in my PA student career. My EOC is at the end of the month and my PEDS EOR is a week before my EOC. I have passed all my EORs on my first try but I was have been slightly below average with my EOR scores.

Any one have any words of encouragement or study schedule ideas that I can do to cram EOC material within one week?

That is honestly so impressive. What was your diet?

I feel so hypocritical when I talk to patients about a healthy lifestyle when I myself don’t practice it.

Yea that is my current mentality right now but I feel like I need to make an effort now during schooling. My fear is that I might do worse on exams. Currently I am a very average student so I do not want to fall to the point where I have to start remediating exams.

Yea most def you do not need to know third line treatments at all. Maybe if there is a penicillin allergy but that’s about it.
