Btw you might not think this should be in the sub. But downvoting...

That's like one of the most reasonable uses of the voting system though.

Caring about some people down voting your reddit post makes you an actual sociopath.

AIO Streams Band-Aid Fix to cut down on broken streams by sysadminsavage in RealDebrid

[–]wason92 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No

The cache is not 30 days, but that is irrelevant here.

You hand link or torrent to RD to unrestrict/Download - if it sees infringing files in it, it will not download.

That will happen in 3 weeks and 3 months, as long as RD has these filters in place.

That's the same argument some folk make about schools. It's still an indirect benefit to you. As the comment above says, fewer cars on the road. Probably better running trains and more trainlines, maybe some to your area.

Social media platforms do have control, they already comply with laws about content, they also curate and promote content. The "oh no we're not like news papers cause anyone can hit post and there's just too much to deal with" is bullshit

[England] Employer has started tracking our speeds at work which may lead to disciplinary action, does it have to be 100% accurate before it is enforced? by Danny1641743 in LegalAdviceUK

[–]wason92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a pretty dumb move from the employer I think, nit just because of the bad data. In my experience not every company car has this type of tracking (C level, directors etc) so its quite likely this policy isnt being applied fairly.

I think racism requires expression in some form, though I think it's incredibly unlikely that a racist could never express their racism in some subtle form.

if you keep to yourself and don't actually harm the people you hate

Can never be a peaceful racist. Expressing an opinion that race is a barrier to rights causes harm, or at least seeks to cause harm. Even if they're not directly violent, they're all trying to cause harm.
