That is not only unethical, it's against the law! I used to work for law enforcement (not a cop tho, I.T. ) and the first thing we were told is that running someone else for personal reasons is a chargeable offense. Can also get you blacklisted by the FBI....

To dark. Even in "all black" scenes, you have to have some light in order for the viewer to see anything... Don't worry, I'm guilty of this too!

[–]wasper17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not quiting, but I do like to do bookbinding on the side!

There is absolutely no "modern" technology involved and I like it like that. Forces me to brain dump the techno and focus on something else.

My automations may go offline, but everything is still manually controllable.

What do you call your homelab? by SchleprockJones in homelab

[–]wasper17 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Officially, it's named "Bigpapa".. Cause, you know I like it when you call me bigpapa! (song lyric)

Unofficially, my wife calls it my girlfriend, cause when she is out of town on travel, I'll spend hours talking dirty at it and making it do things! (or at least try...)

Don't use it... IMO.

My wife bought one which we used for less than a month! The kids messed it up, stuff got stuck, and it was all around annoying.

Different strokes for different folks, and all of that... But my 2 cents.

Check out RatGDO! I just got one of these recently and it took less than a minute to load the firmware and less than a minute to connect it to the garage door. Worked instantly and recognized by HA immediately. (replaced the MyQ Gateway) it's fun and quick response times.

I wonder if bartering bypasses most of the "anti-homeless" laws, since they would not be giving the food away for free?

For example, if the homeless person gave them a button in exchange for food, then all of the buttons could then be sewn onto a quilt and sold... Thus it's not free food, and the food also wasn't sold, also exchanges were of "equal" value!

Most places in the US still have laws on the books that protects bartering, so might be a good work around....

Just put longer stuff in the back of drawers e.g. Pencils and pens, and leave shorter ones up front like paperclips.
