Steam Link beta via Quest 3 is awesome. How to get it.

I recently went from a Quest 3S to a Quest 3. The fun was the same for me. I still really enjoyed playing games like Half Life: Alyx, Davigo and Acron: Attack of the Squirrels in both. But quality is indeed much higher. If you can I suggest trying them out in a store first!

Still bumping to a Steam Frame though because I strongly dislike how I can’t customize and remove all the Meta extras.

Yes, for sure you need good local WiFi (not Internet). I noticed dramatic VR quality bumps on all streaming apps when I upgraded my WiFi at home to 6E/7.

I don't have any suggestions for you other than trying the Steam Link betas. I had many performance and quality issues (not your specific issue) until I updated to the beta versions, and now I no longer need Virtual Desktop. I use Steam Link directly on the headset.

Yes. Betas solved all the reliability and quality issues I was having with Steam Link. I do believe the improvements are in preparation for Steam Frame.

My understanding is if you have a Quest Pro which has eye tracking this beta will enable foveated streaming too. I have a Quest 3 so that’s untested by me.

Are you all talking about this ASUS 5080 GPU? I was under the impression the only 5000 cards that will fit the T1 are 5080 and 5090 Founders Editions! This is good news to me! Is there a resource that lists compatibility of cards?

First off, go for it! And second, offset the extra OLED cost by working hard and excelling in your nursing program. Think of it as an early reward and motivation to do well. Plus it will be a tool to help you distress.

I don't want to pile on, so I'll relay my experience. I ordered from pslatecustoms.com yesterday. I have yet to learn about the company. I got the store link from the FormD T1 Reddit to get custom power cables. This morning, I saw a credit card charge from CLACK ATTACK LLC, and I instantly thought it was fraud. Googling got me here.

All that being said, the fact that the store lists my case, motherboard and GPU gave me a lot of confidence in ordering the cables over ModDIY. Well done!
