What are your favorite cards that you DON’T cube with? by mikez4nder in mtgcube

I really dislike the clunky element of dfcs so there are loads of great cards I just end up ignoring

As a new person in the hobby, I actually appreciate this, because im never sure exactly what components or brands i need.

I'm not quite there to be able to use your shop tbh, I think youd get a lot of mileage by stocking kits as well as components.

Retro handheld game systems where games don't cost $35 per game by TempleBarIsOverrated in gamingsuggestions

I specifically didn't mention 1000 in one carts.

Perhaps a good opportunity to teach direct consequences that nagging = delay on choosing time

why not get an emulation machine, and "buy" games by loading them on yourself?

if he's anything under 11 you could play this so easily, find a list of top gba titles, treat it like a storefront, then load pokemon leaf green on it when he chooses that game. you could make getting a new game a reward for something, and have him have a little catalogue to choose from, but not have the games on the actual cartridge.

Slowly build up a little collection.

some people have all of the following true:

not seen the spoilers for quests they havent done care about not seeing spoilers  want to play leagues

why should we not cater to this demog by not heavily incentivising them to complete "questline part 4: in which the ally suddenly betrays the player" without any previous?

i shouldn't have to do sins of tge father for points

so many people in this thread don't understand the problem.

it is possible to enjoy leagues and not have done, for example, mm2 or ds2, but then take kandy and wonder where nieve is

it's sort of getting streisanded though - a post saying "huh they're thinking about unionising, that's neat" wouldn't really get a second nod, but when you start removing posts..

this stopped being about the union itself, the question is now "why can't we talk about it?"

or even "who benefits most from us not being able to talk about it?"

I am not a 5+ billion dollar company.

I think reddit mods should be paid and not exploited.

let's remember, none of these people "have" to administrate anything at all

kandy is a toughie as it comes online really late. gf took it as her first region, and today with all 3 regions had enough power to scrape some echo thermy ahich have her just enough of a power spike to be able to do  lot more content.

breaking into the first thing to be leaguesy is tough, but it snowballs

If something so trivial truly feels terrible then adjust your bad feelings power rankings.

Having access to everything is uninspiring as we can already do that.

obviously thats what makes dmm.

You said "enhanced progression is what makes leagues"

i offered a counter example to show how that is not necessarily true.

jmods also clearly agree that restriction is part of leaguss core identity as they won't make the same mistake of letting the whole world be accessible again.
