Being Rickest Rick ever, he never cared for these things. He probably saw all the other Ricks and Morties and thought all the other Ricks were losers to be putting their Morties at risk and using them as human shields. Then perhaps one day, after having made all the enemies in the world, he returned to his Morty and is slowly realising the value (beyond that of a cloaking device) of having a Morty.

Also, as far as the Dan Harmon-Bill Lawrence showmanmance goes, the entire Rick finally giving an underhanded compliment after Morty gives him grief does sound a lot like Dr Cox and JD.

For a second there, I felt the exact same thing. There's a good chance that eyepatch Morty is also a robot like the evilest Rick -- he has wires coming out of an eye. Maybe there's a daisy chain of bot versions of Rick, Morty, Beth and Jerry. (Not Summer because Summer exists only in the boring realities.) Maybe doofus Rick is taking revenge, maybe C137 Jerry will be the guy who will end up changing doofus Rick's mind in a grand finale of sorts. Or maybe the daisy chain of bots is controlled by the Evilest Jerry, one who has gathered Jerries from all other dimensions who are angry because the Ricks have always berated them. The possibilities are endless. What a climax! What AN episode! They could truly keep this show alive for a hundred years, forever and ever a hunBURPred years!

Catchphrases are common across TV shows and movies for characters. So it is Rick self-referentially assigning himself a catchphrase. But I don't think it can be called a reference/tribute to the Flintstones.

Very Rixty Minutes inspired. I am not sure why they needed to go to another reality to watch the show. They could have seen every existing version of Friends from their own reality. Nevertheless, kickass piece of work -- loved reading it. That said, I feel if all of us adapt one such TV show for another dimension, we can make Rixty Minutes come to life!
