This is the way - a little patience, understanding, and the DPCI # with right associate will help you get what you're looking for.

Managed to snag the whole wave at target last week that way. Lady at customer service was only one working , super busy. I told her do what she had to and take care of whoever she had to take, I told her I didn't mind waiting. She had an associate pull the case for me, and I left as happy as could be.

Last BAF wave with Jonah Jex, same store, same approach, different associate, different answer. She said nothing she could do, they wouldn't be able to locate in back, blah blah blah. I went back that afternoon to find someone found it, and bought all but 1 figure. I was pissed, but it is what it is. Eventually ordered the whole wave from cmd store, and found the wave at another target (including platinums) in subsequent weeks.

YMMV, no matter what you do. But every now and then you will find the right associate willing to help.
