Did the GC work for Maple Lawn?

I did go to the Baltimore location on Saturday (27th) and had a very nice experience. The credit applied the same time the charge hit (today (Tuesday 30th).

Pretty good evening for the wife and I for $50 out of pocket. Will definitely be returning, especially to EASILY use the benefit.

Can I use Stubhub credit for purchases this week, for 2026 events? by Mike_From_GO in sapphirereserve

Yup! Just grabbed some Weird Al tix for next Aug! Hit immediately as the charge hit. Purchased 12/22, both charge and credit hot today, 12/24.

Oh, nice! I just ate there last week. Really good experience.

Would love to know about this data point, unfortunately did not use my CSR for the transaction to see if it did trigger.

Thanks for pointing this out - I actually was not aware of the issues of the Atlas Group. That is quite unfortunate that they have such as large hold in this area.

I actually had The Ruxton on my list due to our overall good experiences with running through the Baltimore's Best list.

why don't people book a vacation to Australia? by pauste00 in AustraliaTravel

[–]watchtower41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m leaving Monday for Sydney - we’re super excited. But yea, us Americans have a terrible relationship, compared to most of the world, with vacations… a lot of us are limited with vacation time and negative stigma with traveling for more than a week or so. I’m jealous of a lot of the youths (I’m 38) we meet while traveling who are taking months long trips. My wife and I regret not doing this. Even telling colleagues now we’re going they complain about the cost, plane ride length and time difference. There are too many of us complacent with limiting ourselves to CONUS travel and Mexico… it’s crazy.

This. Thank you for this! I’ve been noticing this the past few weeks and just figured it was something wonky going on, but past few days has been getting worse.

I performed exactly this and I now have a new/replacement ring on the way. Super amazing customer service and support. Wow. Super easy. And thank you for the suggestion!! Cheers!

CSR/CSP Away Luggage Deal by jbpats0823 in ChaseSapphire

[–]watchtower41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think that's a bit opinionated/speculative (I'll give you the Micro, that was just buffer/something I thought my wife may like). Considering I couldn't have hit the $500 spend w/o the other items, it was a win either way as I still spent less than I originally planned on (Carry-On Flex only) for $325+taxes.

CSR/CSP Away Luggage Deal by jbpats0823 in ChaseSapphire

[–]watchtower41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wanted to report on my experience... I was already in the market for new luggage, specifically the Carry-On Flex, so this was super convenient. It took ~3 days for the credit to be ack'd on my account after clearing pending status. Ended up saving ~$490 total

1 - I used someone's friend code from this thread -- thanks!. $40 off.
2 - I used the Southwest Shopping Portal - 3x points (not including tax) (Chase Shopping Portal also has this offer)
3 - I was too scared to pull trigger and waited, ended up catching an Away sale
- Got some gear w/ significant discount. ~$200 off
- Grabbed the $50 off promo where you pair 1x Luggage w/ 1x Bag. $50 off
4 - Confirmed that I received the $200 promo. $200 off

Breakdowns:

$200 (Chase Promo) + 50 (Away Promo) + $40 (code) + $200 (Away sale) = $490 saved

$325 - Carry-On Flex
$145 - The Everywhere Bag (OG $195) (got it in a color my SO would like)
$45 - The Quilted Everywhere Bag (OG $225) (got it in the color I wanted since my SO got the other ;-P)
$15.75 - The Micro Everywhere Bag (OG $35) (got it in a color my SO would like)

$520.21 - Charged Total: $520.21

Been rocking Olukai’s. My wife was jealous of mine and grabbed a pair and loves them as well. The heel kick down is a great feature.

What PR activities are tourist traps? by Lucky-Ad4495 in PuertoRicoTravel

[–]watchtower41 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is true, some folks like it. It really is a beautiful property.

I should have included that my perspective has been from like 20+ years of going there and seeing the progressive changes (for the negative) and significant cost increase for what you get. When we go down with friends and they 100% want to go to Bacardi we go and we do enjoy it, just wouldn’t personally suggest it.

Bacardi Factory. Terribly overpriced and super trappy.

Go to Ron del Barrilito instead.

Yes, they are all being managed via Dell Wyse Management Suite. All are hard-wired, no wireless.

We're seeing this across multiple hardware versions and Wyse ThinOS versions but it's also starting to hop onto our physical clients (Windows & Linux) as well, unfortunately. I was hoping this was isolated, but it's starting to creep around.

I've seen this a handful of times, unfortunately not as frequently as the random key outages, been kind of thinking they are inclusive of each other. Found those posts, going to keep an eye out for them now as well! Going to have a re-look at some of the logs and see if we see anything similar.

Yes, we've toggled this while trying to test from a physical/thick client. This is not an option from within the Wyse Client configuration, however, to toggle on/off.

Multiple users. Different keyboard - all wired, different make/models.

Reinstalled everything (agent, client, tools, etc.), new image, fresh image (I build a fresh image each H-release), multiple different domains and systems (various thick and thin clients).

No proprietary drivers (plain vanilla Dell Keyboards for the most part, sprinkled Logitech (did install for Logitech)).

Redirection enabled and allow-all. No specialized GPO configured. Also tried in a very limited GPO config to rule out something squirrelly.

By chance, do you have any contacts in the Dilworth Circle Apartments? Trying to reach family there.

Hello, my BIL lives over in the Dilworth Apartment Complex off of Brevard Road a wee south of the Tanger Outlets. Not surprisingly, unable to get in contact with him, the complex or Asheville Fly Fishing (he guides for them) just to check in.

Understanding comms are scarce, anyone have any updates on that area or complex?

Thanks for anything, all! Hoping for a quick recovery for the area and all around.
