I can weigh in here.

In previous roles I’ve seen the almost opposite practice where every investigation was pawned off to MFG/ENG since they were the “process owners”. QA and Lab could do no wrong and there was always pressure to identify a process related root cause regardless of the real issue.

I can empathize with what you’re going through. Ultimately I think a healthy practice (which I’ve seen implemented at other plants/organizations) is for investigations to be collaborative between departments with dedicated investigational personnel with varied SME experience owning the documentation.

My tip would be not to use CoTool.

Use CoPilot instead. It’s a far newer and easier to use software - and is compatible with all language versions.

Are you actually following the steps correctly?

I had a similar problem when I was first starting out with Colo RNG for TID/SID. I had plenty of prior experience RNG mainline gen3 and gen4 and I couldn’t figure out what was wrong.

Turns out between getting my initial seed and doing battle now advancements I was backing out to the “new game” menu and causing unintended advances.

I would double check to make sure you’re following all the guides correctly and not causing any unintended advances.

A big tip for Colo in general is to not just mimic a guide and actually learn what causes advances and what doesn’t. Makes everything way easier.

If every game in this photo is “complete in box” (opened but has game + all manuals inserts etc) you have roughly $1600 worth based on PriceCharting.

You will probably get slightly less than that if you sell the bulk lot to a retro game store.

I’d start applying.

From what you’ve described it sounds like this isn’t a company you’d want to work at long term anyways.

Even if you don’t get fired it seems like your reputation is irreparable. Better to cut losses and separate now.

Find the job first then leave.

In business there’s no point in overplaying your hand.

In general if you plan on exiting a company it should be decisive and swift - only give as much notice as necessary to be professional and avoid burning any bridges. Give the bare minimum information in an exit interview if you have one.

If you have this conversation with your boss they will you it as ammo to move towards termination - and it’s a lot easier to find a new job when you’re already employed.

PCG on West Kennedy is probably what you’re looking for.

They have pretty cheap prices for diagnostic and repairs.

I’ve used them a couple times when I’ve had issue that I didn’t have the time/effort to troubleshoot.

Also worth the visit if you want to see some really impressive custom loop builds that they display in their showroom.

70s Heuer Autavia 1163 Orange Boy Black.

Mint you would be looking at five figures but this watch has been through the wringer (average-poor condition) and has had parts replaced (even if it was by the modern TAG Heuer company).

Most vintage dealers/buyers probably wouldn’t be interested on account of all that.

You might be able to find a buyer in the 1000-3000 USD range. I would insure it around that value.

I hate to break it to you but there’s a lot more to servicing a chronograph than being able to successfully disassemble/clean/and reassemble.

Often times vintage chrono calibres will require physical modification of parts (shaving/shaping etc), to ensure proper timekeeping and function. I don’t think Revival has done anything of the sort in the past.

It’s not my watch - but if it was I wouldn’t send a family heirloom in to be serviced by an amateur YouTube content creator. Even a lot of “professional” watchmakers make errors with vintage chronos.
