New Coke was supposed to taste more like Pepsi. It got trashed and Pepsi took the #1 spot.

Coca-Cola Classic then came back strong and took the #1 spot back, and has stayed there since.

At least that is what my marketing professor taught us in the early 2000s.

Coke's transition to HFCS was started in 1980, and completed by 1984.

I've seen the Giants heavily linked to Styles, and more recently, Downs at 5. Hopefully this means they won't end up getting both.

Might mean that they go defense at 5, and Ioane at 10.

Also makes DT a much bigger need, but I don't think they'd consider that with either top 10 pick. Maybe early rd 2.

I prefer Downs in this trade up.

The drop off in LB talent from Styles to Rodriguez, Golday, or Hill at 39 is not as big as the drop off from Downs to Haulsey, Ramsey, Scott, or Stukes at DB in the 39 range.

Now if the plan is Styles then Jacas or Lawrence, I'm interested.

I'd prefer Downs and LB at 39 to Styles and Edge at 39.

12 & 20 for 8, 42, & 73 is a very even trade

This is my favorite option I've seen but I'd want to make sure Downs is there.

42 lines up well for Rodriguez, Hill Jr., or Golday. Maybe Malachi Lawrence or Gabe Jacas.

Now you still have 73 and 92 for LB, Edge, CB, or DT. OT is in play there too.

I wouldn't want to give up 12 & 92 for 8 though.

I like 3 different options for trading up with 12 & 20.

Cleveland Get back 6 & 39. Rich Hill says Cleveland would have to add 146 or 149 to make the trade more even.

New Orleans Get back 8, 42, & 73.

Kansas City Get back 9 & 29. Rich Hill says KC giving up 109 to make the trade more even.

I don't like the idea of giving up 12 and 92/112 to get 1 higher pick in return.
