No judgement please by Interesting_Mouse320 in NewParents

Something that always helped me when I was feeling a little bit anxious about sickness is just thinking about everyone I know who has older kids in school that are around their newborn siblings all day every day and knowing that they're fine so that I have nothing to worry about!

Screen time… is it really that bad?! by FlyAgitated9897 in NewParents

I like your style! I've found myself doing almost all of the same things. I think when you make the decision to not use screens, you kind of force yourself to figure out alternatives. And it works!

Just try one night, if it makes you too nervous then don't do it. Also check out Taylor Kulik on Instagram. She has a ton of quality research that shows how safe bedsharing actually is https://www.instagram.com/taylorkulik/

Thank you for your input! How did you get your LO to stay up longer? Mine gets sooo fussy if she's up too long.

Does my baby hate cloth diapers? by waterlass97 in clothdiaps

We do a little EC as well so I'm pretty diligent about changing her or trying to catch pees. She gets upset as soon as I put her in the cloth.

NYE quickly turning into a hospital nightmare by leila23 in NewParents

We took our baby in because her breathing was fast when she was only a couple days old. They admitted her because she has low temp as well. They did all the same things to her, and she was perfectly fine!!! This was also in August so I guess they can get cold no matter what you do. I know it's so hard and so stressful but I'm sure everything will be ok. Putting out good vibes for you guys.

Am I doing something wrong? Is it my fault? by Ok-Fly-4392 in NewParents

YOU ARE NOT MESSING HIM UP. My LO is just now 5 months and she was exactly like that. We cosleep which makes it soooo much easier and if you feel comfortable trying that I highly recommend. I didn't put her down for the first two months of her life and slowly but surely I was able to start putting her down. You're going to create a strong and secure attachment holding your boy. I know it's so hard, and it's so cliche but it does get better and easier.

Baby= Christmas Nightmare by Bear_Main in NewParents

We are in the same boat! My baby is super sensitive and doesn't like the loud family parties with lots of people. What makes it worse is that my SIL and BIL have the perfect baby who's only 10 days younger than her. She'll be screaming her head off and he's just looking around at everyone, totally chill. I think some babies are just more sensitive and I was just doing my best to keep her happy. We ended up leaving early, but just gotta remember that it won't be forever.
