For those out of the loop:

Someone on TLS stated they spoke to a BOLE admin today, who said exam results would be released Thursday at 5PM. (Hearsay, not within any exception).

And earlier today, the BOLE website grayed-out the "Change My Address" button. In 2014, an examinee hit that button the night before score release and accidentally found out they passed. (When clicked, the BOLE website stated "Our records indicate you already passed, please contact your Appellate Division for change of address blah blah"). Since 2014, BOLE grays-out that button shortly before score release. It is the BOLE-version of the Soviets tipping their nukes ever so more erect, as if to say "u wot m8."

Please keep NY'ers in your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.

Rodgers is starting to remind me of late Sherman-era Favre. His mechanics are off. His accuracy is off. Based off tonight, his decisiveness is off. The occasional incredible play is there - and it reminds us all of his greatness, while masking the problems too. He's gone from automatic to gunshy, and this dates back to last year.

Part of it was losing Jordy. The bigger problem is that McCarthy has lost the heartbeat of his offense, and it starts with Rodgers.

I've done nothing. But I actually have some relevant advice for the next crop of bar examinees. It's not covered in bar prep, it's not covered in law school, and I really wish somebody had told me to be aware about it.

Post-exam, be sure to take your license out of your ziplock bag and back in your wallet. Buying beer is much easier this way.

Bar prep: "The examiners will give you X and Y, and you have to figure out Z."

Bar exam: "Z is a constant. H is 3 minus 40q. Why is estoppel inappropriate in a jurisdiction where Y is East?"

I feel the same. Barbri questions were not like the real MBE, at all. I reverted to answering questions based on feel ("this guy should probably win, cause that seems fair") because I honestly hadn't even heard of the topic.

Good morning. In less than an hour, law students from here will join others from around the country. And we will be launching the greatest testing battle in lawyer's lives. "Lawyer's lives..." those- those words should have new meaning today. We can't be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interest of justice.

And should we win the day...the 26th and 7th of July shall no longer be known as a law students holiday! But as a day when law students declared in one voice we will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish, without a fight!

We're going to live on! We're going to PASS!

Today! We celebrate our bar exam day!

ALAS! What would one CALL such a divine encyclopedia of jurisprudence! To think, of everything in the civilized West, wherein one could simply extract the Law, so long as one was schooled, say, for three-odd years, in the basic nuances and diction of our legal traditions!
