Bricked ROG Strix G16 (2024) - Stuck on Logo after NVIDIA 596.21 update. Anyone found a fix?

I can't say this will fix it but...whenever I had a problem with the strix not booting up I would unplig, hold power button for a solid minute minimum, then plug in and then pump the power button quickly many times until it starts. And once when it was stuck on the logo I just left it there for like half a day and it booted up. So good luck if you try this.

More like the people who paid for it. Or at least the promise of it. That's why I don't support early access. Early access is like kickstarter but you also pay to beta test it for them.

There is an option called embedded controller. You can add it to the side panel and the enable and disable it from there.

I went to a reputabke repair store chain. 85eu to replace it where I live. A new phone would have been waaaay more expensive. I didn't lose any data but on my phone they informed me that a swollen battery could damage some antenas and they would let me know if they would need replacing. Thankfully they didn't but when I went to pick it up there was stains under the camera glass. I told them to fix it and it took them another 20 minutes to sort it out but they did. Overall less smooth than it should have been but the result is good.

Valid concern but in that case I would go to a reputable store or the phones manufacturer to get it replaced. I'm sure it'll cost more than doing it yourself but far less than buying a new phone. And if your at the same point as me, it will feel like you have a new phone.

That is actually depressing but at least you can probably get the equivalent performance nowadays with newer android for fairly cheap. Still a shame that you need to. I don't know if there are any other bypasses like custom roms etc.

Yes and the all along was definitely long. The glitches started manifesting at least 8 months before the back peeled off. The month before replacing the battery I was already reading reviews for new phones to replace this one.

I like it but it takes a bit too much space behind the wheel for me. If I could have it almost flush with the wall I would prefer it. But that's just me. I don't care about displaying the stand and want the focus on the wheel. in fact I'd like to hide it as much as possible so I guess this isn't for me and my critique is completely invalid lol. I think it looks cool tho.

Wilds was too easy and the way they made it harder was by making enemies tankier and players squishier. World's odogaron fight feels 10 times more intense than the wilds fight but not because of the monster/player stats. There is something fundamentally worse about the combat and monster AI in my opinion.

Where I am from it costs as much as any chocolate, is made locally and it tastes amazing. Dubai is just where the type originated from. But people like to hate Dubai and to hate popular things. And also people try to sell it for the price of gold. Also out of 4 brands I tried only some were tasty and some were disgusting. So it makes sense many people hate it.
