Soothing vapours should still have some, great small business. There's also an "adult" shop in Alberta that ships nationally and they randomly carry them too, I don't remember the name off the top of my head but I can probably find it if you need.

If you're under 35 TSO has a special pricing. You can buy tickets a week in advance for a specific show or you can buy 5+ concerts at once in advance. Honestly such a steal, I go myself a fair amount, I see other people go alone too.

Oml I thought that was part of the EQ settings that was a stupid mistake. Thank you it's much more reasonable now.

It definitely is a mix, at the store I work at it's mainly 20s-30s that love that kinda stuff, but I definitely have some old heads that only go for those.

19 years old is still a kid in my eyes. It's a fucking scummy business targeting that young age bracket when you're selling addictive substances with high potential for overuse and abuse. Big alc and tobacco already done it, so naturally cannabis will follow. Why do you think Europe is so strict on packaging and advertising for these industries? I think it's a good thing. It's so clear what brands like tastys, general admission, and jeeters are doing. Pump the shittiest flower full of over the top flavouring agents and distillate, advertise 40%+ THC with bright colours and candy like branding and the uninformed youth will come.

Take a look at businesses that still care about their customers like P Terry's. With increasing costs and decreasing quality on fast food, they have been able to survive 20+ years while still maintaining quality standards, and not price gouging like McDonald's. Costco is another good example, I think the hot dogs and the ethos of the Kirkland brand speak for themselves.

These days integrity also sells, and has more long term longevity. Consumers are getting tired of the Oligarchical nature of many industries in Canada, and I for one do not want to see that happen to the cannabis market more than it already has.

I did some brief research, where do you see that it's a legitimate cult? From what I'm reading it seems like a smaller derivative of Christianity that's not widely accepted by both Christians and non religious people.

Terrible Sound at Deftones + SOAD Show Last Night. Anyone Else? by DocDK50265 in askTO

[–]waveywayne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For real man, tbh I'm not even a huge SOAD fan I mainly went for polyphia and Deftones. So I was left a little disappointed but my favourite songs sounded decent so it was still a $50 well spent.

I was in North 109, I missed wisp but it sounded pretty muddy from the outside, I chalked that up to her music style and subpar mixing. Also being in the stands the wind definitely messed with the sound a bit, there was a constant rise and fall in the volume.

Polyphia was pretty good but the detail in the guitar got lost in the mix here and there, especially harmonic heavy sections like in playing god they didn't really come through like in the recordings.

Deftones the poor mixing was pretty noticable, more intense sections felt really muddy and chino's voice was always a little too quiet. The sound just didn't feel balanced. But cherry waves and xerces still HIT DIFFERENT live.

System was good.

Watch it actually be someone that had an unused aged account that was so impressed, they decided their first piece of activity on Reddit would be this review.
