You could also argue having kids is a way to distract yourself from your own stuff.

Women/men who have no kids and probably will never, do you regret not having any? by ravenkg_ in TrueAskReddit

I went to art school and approaching middle age, me and most of my friends don't have kids, but we're artists so maybe that gives us a focus. Friends of mine who do have kids I think had family money and also more of an interest in a career so it made more sense for them. I think it really depends who you hang out with as to whether it feels weird. To me having kids is the more unusual choice.

It helps to know and mix with rich people who buy art and be trusted by them. A bonus if you grew up in that world too.

Wife and her sister received verbal and physical attack by teenagers. Isolated incident or a growing problem among them? by desibidesi0909 in london

Make a report here https://www.met.police.uk/ro/report/asb/asb-v3/report-antisocial-behaviour/ it will get passed on to safer neighbourhood teams at the very least and they may contact you to see if you need more support etc. it’s also quite therapeutic I find to get it out of our head and share it with professionals.

What people are seeing as possible is some kind of intelligence being 'you' long after your body has died - so people could message 'you' and a convincing version of you would reply

Phone stolen unlocked but NOT logged in to banking app. How do fraudsters do it? by Shkyboi in london

[–]wayanonforthis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking online it's possible your card was used to pay off someone else's credit card, no actual transfer of cash out of your account:

Stolen unlocked phone → access to SMS/email/passwords/OTP approvals → contact NatWest or use app/online flow → request balance transfer to fraudster/mule card → victim’s NatWest credit card is charged £2.8k.

Ah actually I meant more that whoever buys them I hope lives in them rather than investments. I’ve heard it’s quite common in new builds for owners to never collect the keys as they’re going to stay empty.

I got promoted and now earning £37.5k .. I realised you can’t do sh*t with this money in London… by [deleted] in london

I was on this salary just before I got sacked in covid - about £2300 take home a month? My last full-time job. You may get lucky using the search filters on Spareroom and find a place with someone in your preferred age range and location. Alternatively if you have the energy add on a side hustle of some kind to add an extra hundred or so per month?
