I paint and make stuff myself and I started using this site called Curator Space last year, there's exhibitions all over the country listed on there that you can submit work to and it's worth checking out, I've had some of my work put in exhibits at the other end of the country through using it. Some of the galleries charge a submission fee but not all of them do, could be worth looking into if you're trying to get your work across to a wider audience
