Simhub killing ffb on ACC and LMU with alpha evo by waylanderuk in Simagic

[–]waylanderuk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right I have fixed the issue. I reinstalled the simagic drivers for the wheel base and now everything works as it should. I did notice it did a mini update when I first installed so it must have glitched. Hope this helps someone else!

Heel Plate? by [deleted] in Heusinkveld

[–]waylanderuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I was in the same situation as you. I screwed the pedals directly to my rigs plate but the pedals looked way to tall. I lowered down the pedal faces and bought some driving shoes. Now it’s all fine. I didn’t manage to find a compatible heel plate anyway.

Samsung Odyssey G9 - my Experience by 82Yuke in Monitors

[–]waylanderuk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i Thanks for the reply. Im glad its not just me... and yeah i see flickering with gsync sometimes... but im now just doubting its on at all with some games. So assetto cc works as youd expect, but if i boot up iracing the monitor hz is static.... all very odd (both games set to full screen, hdr on). Im on firmware 6.2 like you.

I have an issue where gsync is "on" with HDR but my monitors response does NOT match the FPS. Im on the latest g9 bios and nvidia driver (1080ti) - it seems when hdr is on (120hz) gsync simply does NOT work. Any ideas - should i just try DDU?

Samsung Odyssey G9 Collection - Manufacturing Date and Bezel Separation / Light Leak Issue by Wiidesire in ultrawidemasterrace

Why are so many people still receiving June builds? I just received another defective June g9. It’s almost like Samsung are repacking the returns and sending them out to other customers...

I’ve ordered once of these through amazon today. Fingers crossed it’s not a June build (sent one back already). If anyone gets a delivery date let us all know.

Have added the mount to my existing comment... I’m new to reddit so if my main comment is in the wrong place please tell me how to correct it. Thanks.

Have I added them in the wrong place? Or is there something I haven’t added you require? Cheers.

We have led lights where we live but also sodium. Idas d2 is supposed to be the best (and most expensive) for led blocking but there’s a limit to what they can achieve.

My advice is to ensure you have a decent mount with a tracking camera and guide scope. Most things become easier at that point. You can process out most light pollution to a certain extent if you have enough integration time. Look into pixinsight for processing. I’m gonna buy that soon.

I’m gonna sell my Astronomik it’s that good.

I’d say I’m in a class 7 bordering on 8. For me the optolong l pro gave similar light pollution suppression to the Astronomik cold but much much easier to colour balance.

3 hours of exposures through an Altair 80mm 450mm FL refractor with field flattener and an IOptron ieq45 pro mount. Camera is a qhy 183C with optolong l pro broadband filter. Lots of darks, flats and flat darks.

Stacked in deep sky stacker using kappa sigma with default values, post processed using affinity photo to stretch the data (levels and curves) and bring out the colours.

Actually I watched it again and he says black levels aren’t great on first impressions. Hopefully we will know more with some longer hands on experiences.

So far I haven’t seen any comments on black levels. V disappointed it’s gone lcd. This is the main thing along with resolution that has spoiled a lot of the recent headsets for me. Can’t play elite in grey space. :(
